  • Search youtube for "Christopher Hitchens debates Iraq with Reagan Jr."

    Zarqawi in Iraq

  • Your comment ' And yes, he was in Iraq, to help Saddam kill the kurdish leadership in the North' is not evidence, i asked you to show me the evidence not reconfirm what you said before.

  • The US never told suddam to invade kuwait....

  • Saddam met with April Glaspie, a US Ambassador at the time, to discuss his dispute. Glaspie led Saddam to believe the US would not intervene if Saddam attacked Kuwait, but that was not true. The also put him in power, armed him to fight Iran etc

  • In April 1991 Glaspie testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. She said that at the July 25 meeting she had "repeatedly warned Iraqi President Saddam Hussein against using force to settle his dispute with Kuwait." She also said that Saddam had lied to her by denying he would invade Kuwait. Asked to explain how Saddam could have interpreted her comments as implying U.S. approval for the invasion of Kuwait, she replied: "We foolishly did not realize he [Saddam] was stupid."

  • And you believe that? Oh gosh a testification by an ambassidor must mean the truth. The devilish people who are part of the government are known to make up things. Want a hint? WMD? you with me now?. Look into the Gulf of Tonkin, it clearly proves the US will make up lies to get involved in wars etc.

  • There are four reasons for a nation to lose it's international sovereinty. Genocide, WMD's, Invading it's neighbors, and harboring international terrorists. Saddams regime was guilty of all four. And I know all about the Gulf of Tonkin and it's historical significance, but to claim that Saddam was goaded into attacking Kuwait specifically so we could retaliate against him, is preposterous. Regardless of what ambassador Glaspie said.

  • First thing is Saddam was a puppet put there by the US. Yes he did evil, but when he did, he was supported by the US, ie Iraq-Iran war. It was proved beyong doubt that he did NOT harbour terrorists, thats a fact. Do you also deny that Bin Laden was a CIA operative in the past? Our Governments do things that we the ordinary people cannot comprehend. Leaders are selected and not elected - Roosevelt. This world is a sick place and we don't know what really goes on behind the scenes.

  • And yes, America gave Osama Bin laden money in 79 to fight the soviets..... Because we were at war with the soviets..... He created Al-Queada after the soviets were repelled. He didn't declare jihad on the rest of the western world until then. His rise to power was an unintended consequence of the cold war and soviet expansion. It was a necessary evil and a rational decision. Some wars need to be fought, pacifism is quaint and noble, but allowing tyrants commit genocide must be stopped

  • Also who sold him the the WMD back in the day? Did The US support and sell him those weapons when he was attacking those neighbours?, yes or no?

  • Yes, when he was fighting a war against the ayatollah of Iran. England, France, Russia, Denmark, etc. all supplied Iraq with weapons agaisnt Iran. At the time Iraq was the most secular, stable, beacon of light in Mesopotamia. It was only after the failure of said war that Sadams facade began to crack and he started becoming a crazy stalin like deuchbag. He then began using said weapons on the kurds in the north, and tried to invade Kuwait without provocation.

  • Zarqawi was in Iraq under saddams wishes to help fight the secular kurdish resistance in the north. There were a great many terrorist organizations that had goverment sactioned facilities within Iraq. Your confusing the fact that Saddam had nothing to do with 911 with there being no terrorist activity going on in the country. The bombing of the world trade center was planned and orchestrated by terrorists based out of Iraq.

  • You base your knoweldge of this on what the US government says? You believe the crap they come out with?. I could make you of a list of lies that they have told now and in the past.

The truth is on the side of the oppressed - Malcolm X

You atleast agmit Saddam had nothing to do with 911, so why are 1.5 million civilians dead now in Iraq? by the people you support!.

Your constitution is almost none existant, so is the bill of tights. Your going to be a police state in the future as well.

  • The Bill of Rights, that is. America is going down the pan and soon will not be as 'great' as it use to be, is this all because of few guys with box cutters?. There is a far greater agenda behind all this. U have too much faith in people who are proven to be mass murderers and habitual liars. Your support of Israel shows how just you are!! Why do you not think for yourself and look 'outside the box' instead of whenever you research, you do so to prove what you believe!

  • My belief on this subject has changed twice in my life. I use to be a conservative idiot when I was much younger, middle school. I didn't know anything about history or politics, i just thought there were bad people who we needed to kill. Then I had a liberal change of thought after I got back from basic training in Fort Benning. I became an atheist and started to question all of my preconceived notions. I eventually became a libertarian isolationist. But upon closer examination

  • Mostly listening to what Christopher Hitchens had to say on the subject of religion, then occasionly on the war in Iraq. I had a slow change of heart, I know more about the subject now then I ever have before, and I feel strongly that allowing Saddams dictatorship to continue would have been a disasterous a destabilizing decision that would have been far worse than the subsequent war.

  • I do not base my knowledge of what the US goverment says, In fact I often don't trust the goverment. Im a small goverment libretarian.

1.5 million people died so that there can be a future free Iraq. And so Saddam would not exterminate the free kurdish people in the north.

A police state, only if the religious right has their way..... only time will tell

  • Zarqarwi in Iraq under Saddam? where you got this from? No im not confusing saddam with 911. It is a well know fact Saddam did not like so call terrorists as it gave a chance for them to become unruley. 911 was an inside job in my opnion. Do do also think Bush is a Douchebag like Saddam? What about blair, rumsfield, dick cheney etc? . You use their ideoligies and make out your a free thinker!, bizarre indeed.

  • 911 was not an inside job, you idiot. I refrained from calling you such until now, because you hadn't said anything completely foolish. And yes, he was in Iraq, to help Saddam kill the kurdish leadership in the North. And yes, I think Bush and many of the other names you mentioned, are douchebags. But to compare them to Saddam Hussein is to cheapen his crimes against humanity, and it is a grave insult to men who do not deserve to be treated as such.

  • LOL. Okay now i definetly know your brain washed. Firstly watch loose change on this site, then get back to me on the 'idiot' calling. I think Bush has more deaths under his name than Saddam did, u agree?. Nobody is trying to cheapen Saddams crimes, but the problem is skin colour or even race/religion. Dont you think its a crime what the 'white' man did to the blacks? what about red indians? vietnamese? etc. Murder is murder regardless of whos doing it. You just cant pass your skin colour !

  • I do not care about the color of their skin, your comparing bushs attempt to topple a sadistic regime with wanton genocide that saddam commited. When people say things like that about bush and cheney, they cheapen the crimes of the true enemies of freedom. I have heard that zarqawi was in iraq to fight the kurds from christopher hitchens, and I trust his word. Im not sure where I would look to find it though.

  • So you think Saddam was the true enemy of freedom but bush and cheney etc are not? Christopher hitchens is an idiot who at times does not make sense, he mumbles too much. It was nice to see Galloway and him debating. I wouldnt trust anything Hitchens says as he can be seen to have an agenda, especially with some stuff he comes out with. Hope your having success with watching loose change.!

Im sorry but i wouldnt take Hitchens word. Real evidence is needed to clarify this point.

  • the point itself isn't that important, I would support the invasion of Iraq even if zarqawi wasn't in Iraq. There were multiple terrorist organizations in Iraq operating under goverment supervision.... George galloway is a scumy deushbag... He goes to the middle east and gives speeches supporting hezbolah, then comes back to the US to tell us that there angry. He is a scumy little man of little substance.

  • As recently as Aug. 21, Bush suggested a link between Hussein and Zarqawi, the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq, who was killed by U.S. forces this summer. But a CIA assessment in October 2005 concluded that Hussein's government "did not have a relationship, harbor, or turn a blind eye toward Zarqawi and his associates," according to the report.

"The president is still distorting. He's still making statements which are false," said Sen. Carl M. Levin (D-Mich.), an intelligence committee member.

  • The point you fail to comprehend is that Saddam was your ally, you gave him weapons to attack Iran, he was a US puppet. Why would you support the killing of 1.5 million people. Iraq had nothing to do with 911. Be a man get your hat and fight yourself for the army, its pussies like you who shout 'war' whilst other peoples sons and daughters are going and getting killed. Your a coward. CHICKENHAWK !

  • Saddam was our ally in the war against the ayatollah, I feel as if I have already made this point clear... I was in the army for two years, Infantry, 13 Bravo. I shattered the metatarcels in my left foot and was then given a medical discharge...

After Saddam lost said war, he started decided to invade kuwait.... which we prevented him from doing. He then proceeded to use chemical and biological weapons on the kurdish people in the north. It was genocide.

  • So the point isnt important now? your flippin kidding right? Okay now that its proven there was no al qaeda, what other terrorist organisations you talking about, do name them please. I agree Galloway is a bizarre man but just cos he agree with hezbollah doesnt make him bad. Isreal took over the land of the palestians. The scum bags are Israel and its Allies who bullied a nation out of its land. Israel has hundreds of nukes and the latest tech and you make it sound like 'poor Israel' crap !!

  • It was cheney who came out with this lie about links with saddam and zarqawi that you 'mate' Hitchens went around spreading. To date, not a shred of evidence connecting Saddam with Al Qaida or any other known terrorist organizations have been revealed. The September 11 commission had concluded that there was no link between Saddam and al Qaeda

  • The truth is on the side of the oppressed, remember that and you will see who is right and wrong. Iraq has about1/4 of the oil of the world and Saddam wasnt playing along, so they got rid of him, thats the reason. If thats the case why dont they help all the other nations and free them from their murdering dictators?, yep you got it, NO OIL!. Look just because Hitchens says something which is repeated and spread after hearing Bush and the other scum, does not make it fact.

  • I feel that the liberation of the people of Iraq, be it the kurds, sunni, or shia, was a great thing, and an end result in and of itself. But I acknowledge that if oil was not in Iraq then the Saddam, sadly, would have been left to his own devices. He would have eradicated the kurds in the north, and continued to terrorize the population for many years to come. But I don't see what the problem is?

Oil is the most important resource in the world, is it not worth protecting?

  • That is the most disgusting thing ive heard. 1.5 million people are dead in Iraq and you say its worth it, i feel like vomiting. I have kurdish friends who dont agree with what you say about the kurds. He had a problem with a tiny minority of rebels there. Your speaking lies again.

You think human life is less important than oil? Are you even human?

  • 1/5th of the population is kurdish. It's not a small majority. "You think human life is less important than oil? Are you even human" I think that if there was no oil there in the first place then we still should have liberated the people of Iraq. But I ackoledge that it wouldn't have happened if there wasn't oil there. I think that we should be putting far more resources into destabilizing north korea, but there are few resoruces to speak of there, so it wont happen. Its sad.

  • @Theprinceofponeage considering how limited it is, how much damage it does to the environment and how much conflict it causes isn't it more important to find better sources of energy?

The problem with "protecting" it is that we usually kill a lot of people taking it from someone else.

  • It's damage to the environment is vastly exaggerated, factory farming causes significantly more pollution than the burning of fossil fuels. But I agree that we should continue to strive for new sources of energy, as they become cost effective. We should follow the europeans and start building nuclear fission reactors like they do.

And the future of energy is without a doubt fusion power. But up until that point gets here, oil is one of the most important resources in the world.

  • America invaded Iraq for both social, and economic reasons. Saddam was exterminating the kurds in the north, abu nidal was operating out of a goverment building in iraq. Abdul Rahman Yasin, who helped mix the chemicals for the world trade center bombing in 93.

Iraq was a hotbed of terrorist activity, genocide, wmd's (like the poison gasses used on the kurds) and, they sit on one of the largest oil reserves in the world... how could we not intervene....

  • Saddam had no operational connection with al queda, But that is very different from saying that he had no connection with any terrorist organisations.

  • if your the food, it hurts lol

  • what's wrong with cannibalism?

  • i think it's cool to hear a voice besides alex's once in a while...

  • Skimming the surface of issues without making any concise statements or providing detailed analysis.

The Federal Reserve is bad because there are financial problems in America caused by the Federal Reserve. Ron Paul is against the Federal Reserve because the Federal Reserve causes financial problems, therefor Ron Paul is right. Vote for Ron Paul.

Glenn Beck and Alex Jones do the same exact thing. They entertain people with conjecture.

  • He seems like a nice guy, but he is really bad at standup!

  • Really bad at stand up? are you kidding? Who are you?

  • That's wierd because i've heared is standup plenty of times and it's always halarious. Try downloading some of his CDs

  • I am not going to download any thing that has to do with Joe Rogans so called comedy. In real life as you see in this interview he is not funny and he has only gotten places because he is a good host, but not because he is funny.

  • K i'm not gonna argue.

  • Yeah Joe is not worth an agruement!

    Are you single?

  • You like the cock.

  • :-)

  • Newsradio sucked! Acting is hard if you are good at it!

  • I love it Joe is soooo stoned...LOL

  • Ron Paul / Joe Rogan 2012

  • why cant we have a guy like joe for president

  • Because the system would collapse. People need their politicians feeding them bullshit

  • always dig rogan's thought process,

    if you agree you're pro-weed.

    sorry

  • I'm not a god nut, but scientifically speaking evolution is a theory. It's the Theory of Evolution and not The Law of evolution for a reason, hard scientific evidence. I believe micro-evolution is fact. The problem lies with macro-evolution. The evidence to support macro-evolution doesn't exist anywhere in the fossil record.

  • u mean fix the system. the system is continually getting more fucked man. The people are continually going to lose more control

  • watch the documentary "zeitgeist" u would be surprised how right joe rogan is

  • watch alex jones docu endgame if you could watch zeitgeist, its on youtube

  • I have watched recently an excellent one called "Wake Up Call". It gives a very good historical view of things

  • @roidedhulk Zeitgeist is good. "The arrivals" on wakeupproject(dot)com is worth watching.

  • @roidedhulk If you likes Zeitgeist you would probably like "The Arrivals" on wakeupproject(dot)com.

  • @roidedhulk zeitgeist is disinformationist b.s. don't trust that documentary.

  • @roidedhulk a friend of mine did some research on that first religionish part of the movie and figured that a great part of it is pure crap.

  • @roidedhulk Funny you should say that since Alex Jones is outright opposed to Zeitgeist and Peter Joseph's ideas. He had an "interview" with him, which was really just verbal abuse. So yeah, Power to Joe :)

  • Thank you for posting these.

  • what's that "ice cream truck" music that starts at 2:10??? Anybody know??? REPLY and let me know.. thanks

    Joe is awesome btw.

  • I'm pretty sure it was part of the art bell intro theme or perhaps it just also played on art bell. I know i've heard it from his show too... Don't know if it has a name but they prob. use that song as a spoof of art bell.
