  • im a small 12 year old

  • Yes..millions of kids die each year because they use a dangerous size guitar..they actually get crushed to death..

  • I saw a kid get killed by a jumbo fret strat one time. Not using the right size guitar is just plain dangerous.

  • 2:26 , its a phaser not a flanger

  • my dad bought this for me when I was 8 , it was my first guitar :'(

  • i need the red one not this black guitar

  • I prefur the red one :'D

  • ...Here's a Flanger ;-)

    Your a flanger.

  • can this guitar be tuned to E standard?

  • Poor kids who are getting taught by this faggot.

  • No rocker should ever use the word SUBSIDIARY! He just basically said OFF BRAND in a flowery way!

  • how much is the amp?

  • im 14 and i still dont have anything bigger than that, and ive been playing for years :(

  • @SLASHtheROCKGOD hahah , same here 13 and have been playing for 5 years , this is my guitar.

  • I personally would recomend a fender mustang I because there's so much more to mess with plus it doen't require an upgrade when they get into it. it's already awesome!

  • !!FAG!! (oh yeah)

  • Camera work by Michael J Fox. I hate that trendy "let's shake the camera" bullshit so much.

  • Val Kilmer *cough* *choke*

  • This guitar and amp as well sound horrible! How can you encourage someone to learn with this kind of tone quality?

  • excuse me, I never owned a guitar- Is it possible to connect the Squier Mini to the pc and use it with software amps? Or is virtually every E-Guitar able to do that (as long as it has an amp output, thats positive for 99.9999% of all guitars)?

Please send me a pm with the answer

  • This is a fantastic video, thank you for sharing.

I am a Dad and my 7year old son is getting a guitar and amp for Christmas - this video has helped us to know what amp to get.

Can you please tell me exactly the model. I know that you say it's a Vox VT15 but there are different VT-15 amps available.

Looking on Amazon, there's a "Vox VT15 Valvetronix Electric Guitar Amplifier Combo" and there's a "Vox Valvetronix VT15 Modelling Amp"

Which one do you recommend ??

    Thanks.

  • @Jez2008UK I don't want to speak for this guy in the demo, but in my opinion, you'd be best served by the new Vox Mini 3. Very good amp for $99 everywhere. It has all the bell and whistles-- effects etc-- an on board tuner and a seperate input for a mic. Also has a headphone jack ( from silent practicing) and an input for an ipod, so one can play along to favourite songs.

  • @hammill444

Thanks for the advice but I've already bought a VOX VT20+.

I'm not a guitarist but I played with it today and it's bloody brilliant !!!!!!!!

I sounded like Dave Gilmour !

I'll still take a look at the Vox Mini 3 to see what you're talking about.

Thanks for taking the time though - it's appreciated.

    All the best,

    Jez

  • @Jez2008UK

Those two models you mentioned are in fact the same. The VT stands for Valvetronix, which is VOX's range of hybrid modelling amps. They use a real valve in the modelling section of the amp to produce an organic "tube" tone.

VOX have just brought out a new range, the VT+ which has slightly improved tone, more models and more versatile effects.

  • cool guitar

  • facepalm

  • @georgesrechparis

    can I facepalm with u?

  • Rob, this was so amazingly helpful, thanks for the video. My six year old wants nothing more than an electric guitar to learn on.

  • I'm always a very positive person but, I think that Best Buy now being a Gibson and Fender dealer is going to do more harm than good! There are 4 BB's near me and all of them have 16-18 year old music dept. mngr's who know absolutely nothing about guitars, bass's and amp's!!! And they are all rude and unprofessional!

IMHO, BB will discourage more future musicians than they help! Furthermore, I think Gibson and Fender need to leave BB and stick with the local music stores!

  • i have a baritone guitar, that's made for giantsi guess ;-) , i find it very unpleasant to play :-s

  • lol knob twiddlers

  • @Tomhancox21 lol

  • Older People can play this too......it can play many songs and it can play pretty much what any guitar can. Its just smaller by 1/4. But very good Review! I love it anyways =)
