Hey - For most EU countries there is no $ to € conversion based on exchange rates. Apple or the EU distributor, charges 25000 Euros for the same comp that costs $2500 in the USA. Add the 19% EU VAT and you get the sale price in the EU minus the distributor markup. Noisebrothers are right on!!!!!!

To my friends in Praha: it's not your fault. Here is the chain:

Apple -- USD/EUR conversion -- Netherlands (central supply warehouse) -- EUR/SKK (Czech koruna) conversion -- Import Czech tax -- Your local Czech wholesaler -- Your local Czech retailer

These all add up that will yield in the gross price you have problems with. Plus don't forget that you were calculating in net USD prices, apparently.

Kdyz jsem videl vase prvni videa, myslel jsem, ze se chcete jen zviditelnit a jen machrujete. Ale postupem casu se mne zda, ze vas to vazne bavi.
