Even if we believe the hype of global warming and I do. We could never hurt ourselves and our future descendents by taking care of our planet. I will turn off the lights this weekend and not because I am brainwashed, but on the contrary. Unlike neilvarney00, for example, I've read about the environmental issues that we're facing and I know about the danger we're in. Being an ignorant doesn't save you.

Turning off the lights for one hour is not enough, clearly. But maybe when you leave a room or the home from now on, you will remember to turn off the lights, the TV, the stereo, the computer etc.
