uh yeah, dont listen to this guy. dont use ravage UNLESS its a mage cuz a mage can blink out of pounce. also, its not "totally shit" cuz ravage can crit at 3-4k. secondly, mangle owns shred, not vice versa. and if you spec right, it cost less energy.

Mangle first, then shred, but only if you can comfortably get behind them. Spamming one move is almost never as good as using multiples in good combination. (like putting a mangle debuff for 30% extra damage to shred, then using shred for massive damage.)
what is better talent for druid balance or feral for a dual spec?

You're actually both wrong.

"Any effect that increases bleed damage will also increase shred damage."
Maul has the same thing.
