The 6030 had a choice of a 531ci Naturally aspired engine producing 145HP(VERY RARE, ONLY 45 OF THEM MADE). The other option was the 531 ci engine that was turbocharged and intercooled. The 6030 is for someone who needs raw power! As 6030diesel said, and is true, there was no such thing as the 619 till the 8630 came out.
i really dont understand why people would want a NA 6030 just buy a 5020 with A/C and you got a 6030 NA but i own 3 6030's one NA fully restored and one 6030 turbo restored and a 6030 turbo nonrestored workin on that but man they are awsome and i got a 5020 thats restored gotta love that 531 grunt one say me and my buddy were out cultivating with the two restored 6030's and i had the turbo one with 40ft of deep tillage and he had 35 feet and had a hard time keeping up with me cause mine will lug
I want a 6030 NA sometime to add and start off my collection someday. I'm 14 years old and right now I'm in the process of restoring my 1951 John Deere AR. My favorite JD's are the New Generation tractors. I worked for a farmer, got to work with his 72 4620 powershift, has 8,268 hours, it dynoed at 170hp, everything is stock. Gotta love the JD turbo diesels! Would be cool to see some vids of your 6030's in action! Have fun 6030diesel!
oh i will they run teh twin 7721's i got too real good but if your not carefull youll plug the NA6030's combine real quickly if your not hot on the clutch there kinda a pina in the butt for combining because you have such a big speed step up when you shift from 4th to 7th a powershift would be handy or even a twop speed powershift but yea they do a good job i also got a 71 4320 with around 9400 hours non restored but in mint condition never rebuilt and never sent back to dealer for repairs
and my grandparents used to run the farm with a 72 4620 powershift and that 4320 i was talking about then when my dad took over the farm he traded off the 4620 and the 4020 we had for a 78 8630 and a 665 airseeder but we kept the 4320 because it was grandmas tractor and the loader fit on it plus my dad was spooked about the powershift wearing out after time but i dont think it wouldve so after i took over the farm ii bought the 3 6030's cause there just damn sweet
and if the 7520 had a live pto id trade the 8630 off in a heartbeat and buy one of them but i need a live pto for our combine and the pto fan on the airseeder sorry for all the comenting on you post buti figured ud like to know
I believe the 6030 was [531cui] the same block as 5020 [531cui]? with a Turbo/Intercool and diffirent fuel pump which procduce 212hp/175hp PTO/155hp at drawbar.
Downunder i knew of dryland Farmer you use look after 4,500 acres pulling a 30ft sweep plow,24.5X32 duals with inner cast weights, along with two 44 gal waist fuel tanks.
Night day one could hear that fantastic Deere sound then next door.
Well you are half right. The 6030 was offered with either the 5020's 531 ci engine, producing 141 hp N/A or with the 619 ci tubocharged and intercooled engine producing 175 hp at the pto. this is the only john deere tractor to offer a choice of engine sizes
@axial1680 i like a 1155 massey ferguson with a v8 engine a 1566 is nice i could have bought one with 700 hours on the rebuilt motor for 7500 dollars it was a nice tractor lots of mf tractors used a v8 engine a cat or detroit jd had one tractor with a v8 engine
okey. I think it is the same engine block as the jd 5020. Turbo Ic on a tractor from the 70s thats kind of rare. are there many of those tractors in Uk? the tractor is rare even in the Us i think. Were i came from sweden it was not exported bigger Jd trectors then the 4020 there is some private imported 5020s. I hope u understand me, my englisch sucks. btw nice videos keep up the good work.
easy easy wouldnt want to overhaul that tractor after that ah hell who gives a shit its a deere keep him goin
