  • I wish that we could visit old kemet, your history is too complex & rigid, for these western critics. Old kemet??? It was where Eygpt is today, and was just as prosporus. I urge those who are interested in African History to research this old country, Kemet.. And dont stop there.. there is also Lemuria, if you believe it existed..IT DID! They were black. i.e .wikipedia, Our history will never be told, you must seek the truth, yourself! Always explore, it leads to discovery! Peace & Love :)

  • @SeekeroftheOnes Kemet was the name used by ancient Egyptians to describe Egypt. So, its not that Kemet used to be where Egypt is today.. Kemet IS Egypt. I'm Egyptian so I just had to clarify that. peace.

  • They trick us to hate each other and then show our ignorance to the world on television..TELL LIE VISION....

  • Psalm 68:31, Envoys will come out of Egypt, Ethiopia will quikcly stretch out her hands to God. Indeed, Ethiopia is a special country.

  • WHY IS YOUTUBE DELETING EVERY VIDEO THAT HAS OVER MILLIONS OF VIEWS FROM THIS ALBUM?

like seriously almost all of em!

  • @ThumbsUpMike Because these videos haven't been uploaded legally. If you don't own the rights to the song then you can't upload it. If you do upload a song that doesn't belong to you and it reaches a few million views , I'd expect it to get taken down too.

Pretty simple really but I bet you've got some explanation that involves freemasons huh?

  • @frankovich213 huh?

since when was a i talkinb about freemasons......all i just said was youtube is deleting all Nas videos

i didnt say its some illuminati conspiracy or any shit like that, im just mad that every video i usually watch of Nas gets deleted

  • @ThumbsUpMike lol sorry, i got a little excited. lol

  • Album of the decade!

  • knaan verse is sad hes talking about why somalia is fucked up

  • @celebration123456 can u translate that please?

  • @guyaneze1988 basicly he is saying

they gave you peace but you refused you was given the president you chose but you went and killed him, your country was beautiful and built but you went and broke it down and a bit more i dont understand

  • see nas said Kemet not Egypt that brother know

  • woow, the part of knaan is amazing

  • Peace and love, from africa!!! proud to be african from mama africa!!

  • 0 dislikes. :)

  • It's interesting how the Grammies or Bill Boards didnt give any real recognition to this album... Same old imperialist... This album is education material to all oppressed! Afrika Please wake up!

  • [K'naan]

[Somali] Dadyahow daali waayey, nabada diideen

Oo ninkii doortay dinta, waadinka dillee

Oo dal markii ladhiso, waadinka dunshee

Oo daacad ninkii damcay, waadinka dooxee.

    [translation]

Oh ye people restless in the refusal of peace

and when a man chooses religion, aren't you the one's to kill him?

and when a country is built, aren't you the one's to tear it down?

and when one attempts to tell the truth, aren't you the one's to cut him down?

  • muchas gracias the translation it really did help

  • this is just so real, so pure. cant wait for me to see them in april :')

  • aaaah my three favorite artist!! k'naan & nas killed it.. One Love!

  • It's sad when a great album like this gets overlooked for Grammy nominations and much more props than it has been given. This album is very solid. Nas and Damian Marley are the truth.

  • yeh Africa must wake up! nice song 4 African pple.. K`naan,Nas & Damian Marley thanx 4 da wonderful song... lve 4rm Somalia

  • @faiza717 Your right but this song isnt just for people who are native to Afrika. It is for EVERYONE no matter where you are from this song speaks the truth to you.

  • Africa mus wake up.... wake up.... is time we take ove.

  • this is what music should be....positive & uplifting

  • cant even stress how great this song is

  • so i love how this album wasn't nominated for a grammy wow it really upsets me that an album so genius, so phenomenal is not getting the recognition it deserves i mean we think nicki minaj is grammy nomination worthy but THIS ALBUM is not ? or are they planning to wait 15 years from now and acknowledge it? idk whatever u guess im just tired of listening to garbage music on the radio all day. *sigh*

  • @iamhaddyxo I agree with you , This isnt getting the credit it deserves because The Generation Now Would Rather Listing to How much money some one else has , Hate, Sex etc . I admit iListen to some but im Not a finatic about it . iMean iHave a little Wiz Khalifa on my page but i still agree this album should have been Reconized . one day People Will understand the greatness of REAL MUSiC and not that garbage We Call HipHop Now . The Songs on Here are so inspirational !

  • @TeeSexcFromImvu

honestly thats how most people are in life, even in conversations. have u ever realized, when u talk about real shit, everybody acts weird, but the moment u talkin shit, or about money, everybody gets happy about what ur saying?.. sad ignorant world.

  • @TeeSexcFromImvu very sad world

  • @AlwaysSomethingProd Yes , Yess it is . it'll all change one day . . .

  • @TheZteach ... and that of Malcolm X, Martin Luther, Ghandi, Haile Selasie, Kwame Kruma, Patrice Lumumba, Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Mother Theresa, and all who spent thier life trying to bring about equality and harmony among all races. One day all will see salvation. God bless
