Can someone enlighten me as to why at 0:17 Momochi used a weak shakunetsu? I thought that heavy and EX were the only useful versions of it due their greater damage output and number of hits? Or is there a specific reason that weak/medium fireballs are used?

There is a very good reason Daigo can use the hadouken so much, its because other players know just how good he is in cancelling out the shoryuken into the ultra. You can be jumpy at the start of the match but once that ultra meter builds up its way too risky. So no he's not spamming, he's built a reputation of fear that allows him to use this play style.

@nazyligger4 when u try and do the ex hadoken, the only reason youre teleporting is because youre doing the motion wrong....... and it would help to press two punch buttons at the same time, instead of the L1 button because the engine will assume youre trying to teleport........ make sure youre doing the correct motion though

Akuma/Gouki is definitely a "riskier" character to play is. If you can get it down, I think it's a fantastic character. I'm currently practicing using him, and I just love all the utility. I just also love the demon; just because you can't combo into it doesn't mean that there aren't many situations to pull it off in.

He takes more damage than any other character in the game

He cannot combo into his super or ultra

If anything, he is a very advanced character. One mistake can cost him half of his lifebar compared to Ryu or Ken - which are much more noob friendly. You really need to understand the mechanics of the game to use him well

I just broke my xbox 360 SSFIV game, this game really doesn't make sense at all. Ryu without shoryuken, Guile without his fast recovery of sonic boom, Dhalsim without his long reach, and everyone else's signature moves would be hopeless in this game. I understand it's a game for fun, but, to me, it's just a worthless piece of shit. I play Dhalsim and yet I put so much effort to only get KOd, dropped from 10k BP to 7k BP. There is no such thing as "Invincible frames!"
