  • cual es la calibracion de valvulas de ese motor nissan td27

  • I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD TELL ME,OR SHOW ME WHICH WIRES YOUR SHOP WORKER IS USING TO START THAT MOTOR. I HAVE ONE,AND AM GOING THREW THE REPAIR MANUAL ON THE WIRING HARNESS,BUT IT'S FOR WHEN IT'S IN THE TRUCK,NOT OUT ON THE SHOP FLOOR. I'M PUTTING IT IN MY 1999 Nissan FRONTIER SUPER CAB W/A 3.3LITER GAS MOTOR IN IT. THE MOTOR HAS A 4 SPEED O/D AUTOMATIC HOOKED TO IT. ANT HELP,OR HINTS WOULD BE GREAT.WISH ME LUCK

  • Where can I get one of these in the U.S.?

  • @chighley I've got one. I got it threw Solkin in California. Only trouble was to long for one skid. So when they separated them. The shop just used a BOLT cutter to cut the connecting wires. I'm trying to find anyone who has a complete wiring harness. Even Nissan doesn't have one!!!!!!

  • I have this engine in my London taxi as do many others.

One taxi I had with this engine had done 450,000 miles and was fine. It is not unheard of for these engines to do 2 million miles in a taxi.

I am interesting in tuning the engine to see what one can make.

  • Hey i had a question wat is the MPG on this engines

  • is it for sale

  • I would like to know what is the turbo charger model ,additionaly if you remanufacture and sell this kind of engines. Thanks in advance

  • It's IHI HT12-1.

The motor does about 80HP with the turbo and depending on the year it's do around 101HP.

The TD27i have a intercooler and do around 110-120HP

People have said they have gotten 150HP out of the TD27 motor.

  • ..yeah... it's a great engine. I own a Terrano ( japanese model, different than european and american)with 179000 km.... still perfect! it NEVER stop! Ciao!

  • The turbos are a hitachi model.

HA-3 or something can't remember the model used.

  • Its a diesel, he would have to had run the thing for atleast 10 minutes to get it warmed up; though i can understand the waterpump not liking the absent of water; it would not hurt the engine otherwise in the slightest

  • Thank you, for your comments. We are under a contruction of the bench. Best Regards STC
