@rickswar Jesus Christ wasn't born on the 25th of December. The church just chose that time so they could take over Midwinter festivals, which they did. Reclaim Midwinter! Though it doesn't quite apply to me or others on my side of the globe, since I live in the Southern Hemisphere (Australia), where it's Midsummer at that time.
@rickswar My mother mother was a journalist, my grandfather was an author and art critic, and my sister is an editor - literacy is a big thing in my family. But even I know that correcting spelling and grammar of people posting on the internet is beyond pathetic. Not only is it ridiculously petty, but you never know who you're talking to. They could be 8 years old, or Chinese, or (as Mototsumi is) dyslexic - or all of the above. It's fucking Youtube, not university.
