It would be nice for them to get back together and for people to get a chance to see them but the best thing about them live in concert was the chemistry between them and I doubt that would be there if they were to perform again, so it would be a bit of a cheap version of what was before. Probably better of just leaving the legend to rest and remembering them for the 2 great albums then going there seperate ways.

Yea I know that they're still really close on stage, i've seen a couple myself. But when they were younger they were 2 best mates and even more than that, they were pretty much in love and although the performance still looks the same ie. singing from the same mic. it's just not quite the same. Anyway it's not something I want to argue about, I love the...(gone over limit read next comment)

One last thing, i've not seen The Libertines but i've seen Babyshambles a few times, have yyou found the crowd to be rubbish? I mean its like the oasis crowd if you know what i mean. they jump about but have no knowledge of the band and only like the anthems, chanting for the Blinding and Fuck Forever but not having a clue about eg my favourites 8 Dead Boys and Back From the Dead.
