  • you are hurting me

    you will adapt

  • That mechanical being looks pretty....rubbery

  • You Will Adapt = bitch get over it!

  • To all of you commenters saying that 'You are hurting me' was what Ryan said when you f***ed her, STFU. You never have nor will you ever sleep with someone remotely like Jeri Ryan.

  • @keelelovesscifi12 speak for yourself

  • waaaah

  • which episode is this? who's the other guy?

  • @starsweet4 - The episode is called "Drone." One of the few excellent episodes among a pile of rotten garbage.

  • @JMcH whataya calling rotten garbage?

  • @mrblahboogi - The majority of the rest of "Voyager."

  • @JMcH oh whatever so many if the episodes on the show got some massive rankings, and some are the ebst in Trek history, like ''Scorpion'',''year of hell''...

  • @miloootic - Outweighed by the majority of the its episodes which are the worst in Trek history.

  • The scene is far more emotional while watching the episode. Out of context it is a little cheesy I must admit

  • favorite episode... So sad though :(

  • Voyager was so much better after Jeri Ryan joined the show. It was never great like DS9, but Seven was definitely a help. And not just for her looks. She's a decent actress given the right material. This is an example.

  • @X4PP3D

I just could not stand Kes. She was so freaking neutral and passive in everything. They wrote her as a meek little character, and with only a few exceptions, she never went beyond that. Them adding Jeri Ryan gave them a huge boost.

Originally they were going to get rid of Kim, but he had become a fan favorite, so when it came time to get rid of a cast member, and replace them, it came down to Kes.

The only thing I wish is that the two had interacted beyond one cameo episode.

  • The Borg are made up of organic and artificial life that has been developing for thousands of centuries they live in a collective hive which connects them to each other and they wish to improve themselves

By taking technology and adding it to there own and they reproduce by forcing you to become like them

  • i hate myself for finding this cheesy

  • This one probably one of the best episodes of Voyager. Of course, I thought all the episodes that centered around Seven were great!!!

  • you will adapt.

  • :( Sniff.. Sniff

  • I get choked up EVERY time I watch this! Poor Seven. :(

  • I cried too....because it was one more episode that her jumpsuit didn't spontaneously burst open....this makes me cry all the time.

  • the first time i saw this cried like a baby.... "you will adapt"

  • well I think the drone deserves some attention too! Both seven and drones were excellent in this epi

  • You will adapt :,( so sad

  • I cried. :(

  • woo i thought robots cant love. and i dint know borg can talk like that.

  • @legonatter105

    Borg aren't robots.

  • @Draknfyre thear like robots and have no feelings

  • @legonatter105

    They are cyborgs.

And this drone wasn't like the other Borg. He was created onboard Voyager out of an accident. He had no Borg programming. He had no desire to assimilate. He made friends. He was created with 7's nanoprobes, so 7 was sort of his mother-figure.

  • @legonatter105 their

  • 1 dislike? Really people? Really? Wtft...

  • The drone was created using 7/9's nanoprobes, some random crewman's DNA and the Doctor's mobile emittor. How very liberal of them to include a character with 2 dads (7/9 and random crewman) and a surrogate mother (the Doctor, or at least his mobile emittor)

  • "You were an accident, A random convergence of technology". You would think that at this time in the series they would have worked in the doctor's bedside manner.

  • Seven: D: ... D:

Doctor: ... Welp! Best get that Mobile Emittor back! :3

  • I know that this is also one of the "STRONG" episodes and moments for Seven of Nine but personally I think the BEST perfomance of Jeri Lynn Ryan ios in the episode "Body and Soul" !! ROFLMAO FROM START TO THE END!!!

  • I love u seven!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @t1t296 you just wanna play with her titas xD

  • @EmilxLollipop yeah

  • I allways cry watching this scene. To me it seems like Seven was losing her son.

  • These doctors in Star Trek are ridiculous, even though Picardo portrayed his character brilliantly. One doctor can't do ALL the surgeries and cure you of ALL illnesses.

  • @pm2424 Well, there's a plot reason there's only one doctor on Voyager. The ship was only intended to go on one mission and return home. The ship is undermanned, and they're lost in an uncharted galaxy. He's an emergency holographic program. Ships usually have a medical staff of several people, and on Voyager they do have the Doctor start giving other members of the crew medical training (Notably Paris and Kess) to compensate.

  • @TheRealAkaRai I know the plot but even in general its the same. Take for example Bashir on DS9, he did EVERYTHING. And Crusher in TNG, again one doc. True that Picard was operated on by different doctors at star-bases but still, a ship of more than a 1000 and 1 doc for everything basically.

Then you have Enterprise with Flox, who again did everything, even though the character claimed to have several advanced degrees.

Amongst all of them the EMH was the most believable since he is a computer.

  • @pm2424 Oh. Well, the other doctors did have medical staff, it's just we only see them when the medical bay is full of wounded people, or a major surgery is part of the plot. I think that was just because they wanted to focus on the one doctor as the main character. We saw other members of those medical staffs, we were just rarely introduced to them. Crusher for instance did have at least one regular assistant, who was something of a recurring character. Most likely it was a budget thing.

  • @pm2424 I specifically remember Crusher having Nurse Ogawa, Bashir having a Bajoran nurse and the Doctor having first Kes and later Paris as his Nurses...

  • @GeraldRobotnik Yup you're right. However, they were nurses, like nurses today. Nurses are important too but so are doctors. The same doctor can't do brain surgery and replace your kidney's as well. Unless he is a computer or something. The amount of knowledge and qualifications required are too extensive for one person.

  • @pm2424 Yeah, true, I see whatcha mean. However, I, too, assume there were prolly more doctors on the ships were the sickbays were manned by humanoids (perhaps sans NX-01, that one really doesn't seem to even try and make much of a point in that regard); they just never showed 'em to keep the focus on the CMO.

  • James you a Guy or a girl? grow a Pair

  • James u might wanna check and see if you have a pair..

  • Jeri is a very talented actress as Piacardo and all cast

  • is that her father?

  • @weinmj No, that's her son.

  • Wow .......

  • is that christopher lloyd?

  • :'(

  • Seven: You Must Comply

    One: I will NOT!

Did you ever think you would see a former borg becoming fully human telling another borg that he must comply and that borg refuse to do it.

  • I think in the end the sacrifice One makes by saving Voyager & ending his own life to further protect the crew made Seven come as close to humanity now than she ever has. She basically became an unexpected mother thru the "accident" & then loses that "child" by his own sacrifice.

  • I would say the "mother" instinct was greater with Echep and the three other Borg children in the later episodes.

  • The producers struck gold when they brought Ryan on board the secret isnt thats she is good looking, thats obviously a given, BUT she was a really great actress in the role as well.

Tpol in Enterprise was obviously a "sex up the show tactic",as ryan was, but Tpol though a great looking woman as well just wasnt an actress with the range to truly stand out she couldnt singlehandedly save the show the way Ryan did (STV wouldnt have lasted 7 seasons if she wasnt cast),

  • A good actress??........

No, she simply had bloody huge boobs!!

  • Theres that as well but she waas a good actress compare her to Tpol whos only range was a pout and Seven was shakespear in comparison imo.

  • @damieandark Tpol was inspired by Seven, But you can't Copy "Perfection"

  • Oh no, Niles Crane was assimilated!

  • This was one of the best Voyager episodes ever. It reminded me of the one when Tuvok and Neelix were joined into one being who had to be killed so they could be separated.

  • This part brings me to tears every time. Poor Seven...a mother should never have to outlive her child.

  • lmao "you will adapt"

  • Don't care....

  • Gawd I was BAWLING my eyes out when I saw this.

  • jeri ryan's hot

  • lol

  • this is 1 of the most touching moments on a star trek programme!!!!

    Thank u 4 uploading! :)

  • drone was one of my favorite voyager episodes ever. i loved it when he kamikaze'd the borg sphere

  • It was such an awesome show! I loved this ep! It was so touching. It is her son. He learns humanity, learns his own choice, and saves them all---by taking his own life.

  • :'(

  • Seven losing her baby boy T_T

I teared up when she said those line..

  • one was not her baby he was going to be her lover. I think he love seven cuz he ended his life to save hers

  • Well not really her baby boy..

I just said the because doctor's mobile emitter was damaged and Seven's nanoprobes infected the emitter and later on one was born

  • No not lover, dude it was her baby, really without her he would not exist. She had motherly affection for him because she saw him as her child.

  • it was soooo sad, my fav episode

  • The one thing I've always regretted about this episode is that we never really got a chance to explore the DOCTOR'S dynamic with 'One'; technically, given that it was his mobile emitter that aided in One's creation, couldn't it be argued that he was just as much One's 'parent' as Seven?

  • it was technology that the doctor was given . . . accidentally, it was no more part of him than your sneakers are a part of you

  • Given how much he relied on it to become more than just a hologram, I always felt that his emitter was a part of him where it COUNTED, even if it was a new addition.

  • it is not a part of his thinking processes or any aspect of his being beyond the physical. It is not his choice, so how can it be him?

  • Seven of Nine and the Doctor had a child together.

if that doesn't read "Pairing" boldly between the lines, I don't know what is.

Really, I wish the writers hadn't paired her with Chakotay. There was so much forshadowing and subtext for Seven/Doctor

  • I always thought that JR gave her strongest performance in this episode.

Is it possible for you to post a video that combines their first exchange where 7of9 says, "COMPLY!" "Please...you are hurting me" when One is taking data from her much to quickly & refuses to disconnect from her in the cargo bay?

That would show people the beautiful summitry that this clip brought to the episode.

  • Yes, that brought everything full circle at the end. It made the entire episode unforgettable -- first, the pain of the body and then the pain of the heart. Wonderful story

  • i cry every time i watch this episode..so touching. i can see Seven's humanity..

  • @jamesbug2002 You too! I'm holding back the tears as I type! This was a great episode.

  • @jamesbug2002 grow a pair james and Stfu

  • @Bawlswet Yes, I have humanity. I am human and because of that, I feel what she is feeling in this episode. What about you? Are you human at all? And what does my being a guy or a girl have to do with what I posted? I suggest you STFU and you grow a pair..whatever it is you are telling me to grow.

  • Between your name and your 3 ball related comments in a row you seem pretty fixated on Balls. You should rename yourself Mr. Bucket.

  • @jamesbug2002

    me to *gives hanky*

  • If you look I just made a clip of that today.

I seen after I made mine that there are some others to. I did not think that This would be done. next time I do some looking around.

This scene broke my heart and I cried, You can feel the pain. Out standing job a Grammy in my book.

  • @ArgosySpecOps

Go to my videos and look for sad Emotions.

  • @ArgosySpecOps Those titties give the best performance!

  • what happened to the drone when it died? did it get shot off into space? did it get stored in the ships morgue?

  • The Doctor hacked open One's skull with a blunt knife to get his mobile projector back then Neelix made the rest into "Drone Soup" and the crew ate it and never spoke of One again

  • well, that should have given them their daily requirements of minerals(i know, its a bad joke)

  • Well they gotta get it from sumwhere only other option was every monday the crew draw straws and the looser got hunted for sport by B'elanna then eaten by the crew

  • or they go by performance evaluations

  • Haha! Yeah! "Bad news Ensign Redshirt, you scored a 68% on your evaluation and you know what that means!"

  • redshirt stew, anyone? borg nanoprobe chowder? one bowl to a customer!kinda explains the fluctuating crewcount haha

  • Yeah and explains what happened to the Equinox survivors that were never seen again and why no-one dared to ask where they were

  • you ask, you join them, at least no can say they have no taste, kinda like chicken

  • and you know what they mean by 'performance' elavuations lol

  • i just saw this episode today , it was definitely one of my favorites for basically all the reasons rinseandrepeat said they need more of these.

  • The look on Seven's face is heart wrenching. It's like she lost her son (which in way she did).

  • Doc didn't give a shit though, He was just glad to get his Mobile Emitter back ! But seriously yeah Jeri Ryans performance in this episode was very poignant

  • Such a damm shame. That drone was a cool guy, I liked him.

  • It hurt me to see seven being hurt. She is such a beautiful woman.

  • That was so very sad.

  • I really enjoyed this episode, mainly because it marked a huge step in Seven of Nine's transition to becoming human. Kudos to Jeri Ryan for her brilliant acting. Although I was hoping for a tear or two afterwards, it probably would have been out of character for Ryan at the time.
