@shoes1922 i justify the clear things that you ignore. the 3/5ths was a means to begin the process of freedom for black people. in a country were life, liberty, and property was the law..and slaves were considered property...there were many votes to free slaves...but it would of never passed in that time..with the racial distribution we had at the time..hence the 3/5ths compromise..after the civil war...you know..the war where Americans killed each other for the freedom of slaves?

@shoes1922 slavery ended because the south lost the war. there was no case for slavery after they changed "life liberty and property" to "and the pursuit of happiness"
slaves were considered property
you should be happy with the 3/5th compromise because without it the south would of had enough votes to keep blacks as slaves since they wanted to count black slaves as population for electoral votes..it has nothing to do with being divine
