Oh thats fine Kim she originally posted it to mine last week but I put her right.

I think its a good idea to keep it in uk and I reckon she will do a great job.

Oh, I love the idea! It's so great! I wish all wars could end and let's all start to be humans again. I'm not much of a painter, but more a musician. I like collabs but I don't have good equipment. My Dutch govt. wants to buy JSF's fighterplanes or some nukes instead of making people happy, like you do! What a great initiative! Like music, I think paintings and art comes directly from the good spirits that visit us once every while.

Sad to say demons visit us too. Even in the flesh, like Bush..

GreatGig1~ That's just it, you don't really have to be an artist. You can just paint a single line on the canvas. It's not about what it looks like in the end, it's about the JOURNEY. =)

Elphyrafire~ I hear ya on that. Well, the good thing is you only have to ship it once. It's not too large of a canvas. I think if you ship in the U.S. and box it yourself, it will only cost a few dollars. Yes, I know he is. I am going to be #11. Thanks for reminding me--gotta get my address to him. I met him after I posted my idea. He and I share some psychic abilities I suppose. lol

I could dig this. I was about to do a similar thing but just between a highschool friend and I. He didn't seem very interested so I scrapped the idea. Anyways, I am moving to Texas in a little over 4 months, and as long as this is still going (I'm sure it will be)... I'll post my response.

Hey Little Dude! You bring up a very good question! I hadn't thought of this before. I will have to say no, because your address will need to be on the painting when to receive it and when you mail it off. If I was your mom, I wouldn't want you giving your address out. There are some crazy people in this world. However, your mom or dad could enter though. ;)

Lisa~ I haven't given the "end result" much concrete thought because I have envisioned the canvas traveling endlessly. Should such a day arise where someone thought it best to "cease it's travels", I would hope the painting would be autioned for charity. I think the canvas will take on a life of it's own and we won't know what will happen until it happens.

This is a great Idea, and if it ever gets to a place where it's finished, maybe it could be auctioned and proceeds go to some charity. this really could be big Dali. I had an idea for something along this line before, but in the past I've had a hard time getting people involved in my projects.

think you have a great chance to get it started. maybe a website could be made to help track the painting and list the artists who have participated. will there be any rules as to how much you can add to the painting? also is painting over someone elses art ok or not?

Sherri~ You know I have thought about the Peace theme! Ha! However, I've decided against any themes. Just do what you want. Keeping videos of the painting's progress is one way to see what each artist does. Painting over someone elses work is bound to happen if this painting goes around the world! *excited*
