  • OK so you buy a 100M metro E connection from P1 to P2 and pay $4K a month.

You buy a licensed pair fo radios for $30K + $5k to install it. At the end of ten months the radios have paid for them self. Using fiber you would still be paying $4K every month and you'd be relying on your fiber provider to not have their head up their arse.

Wireless gives you much more control and bang for a buck!

  • Hilarious considering that wireless is dependent on a good fibre backend.

  • @MrMcQ2u Really So this guy shoots across the river to data to get from point A to point B and it's hilarious? Sending data from point A to point B over fiber might have to go 300 miles and through different CO's like in the area I'm in, taking 25-55ms on a good day with. With a short shot like this guy is doing it's much more reliable due to not relying on no network traffic on your ISP's backbone. He has more control of useable bandwidth and guess what. There is a ROI on this equipment,

  • I get it now Fiber is more better!

  • It is indeed and will always be in speed/reliability wise.
