  • Spartan I believe that's a fuel pump problem. Once it gets below a certain point its not getting full contact with the gas so its not sending it

  • Ecm my fiero 3800sc swap did that.

  • my 94 z28 is really weird, if it gets below a quart of a tank(gasoline), it has a hard time starting, then when i fill it up it starts right up

  • hey im in the process of swapping my 3.4 but idk wat motor to get. alot of them come to mind but im not sure wat i want.. i was kinda thinkin of a carb 350.. but im not sure if my stock v6 suspention can support that weight goin down the road as far as handling wise and im lookin for a very cheap motor swap cuz im really short on cash. if you can help please do

  • Your service soon light it's not lighting up that is connected to your PCM it not telling the injectors what to do! I don't know what you have done but, I know if that service soon light is off it's not going to run!

  • Well I can see your problem. You need to rewire the whole car the inside of it. interior wiring is pre obdII u need to get the whole interior wiring from a 96 to 97 M5 Camaro or bird

  • well why should i rewire if i need a new interior wire setup anyway? we did do some rewiring to get it to crank and spark because at first it was dead and wouldnt do anything. someone said taht i may need a new steering column?

  • Basically you need to rewire the whole car. Nothing can stay original from the old 3.4. The reason is because u are missing a plug that comes from the inside of the cabin to the engine compartment.

  • Or what you can do is hot wire the fuel pump to the ignition control module. So when you turn the key to the on position the fuel pump will turn on.

  • Also you are going to be able to tune your car at all with that old OBDI interior harness all that stuff inside there is not compatible with the newer PCM. Go to FullthrottleV6dotcom and post your problems on there. There is many other people on there that can help.

  • You might need a new steering colum why do I say? InsaneABOT just did a 3.4 to 3.8 conversion and that was the same problem he had.

    Check out his channel and ask.

  • he did!! i might have to talk to him. i was told it was alot of things. another reason we said this was a problem because we went from auto to manual. that might have to do with it?
