While someone says Leonard is #1 in this weight division, I can't agree. Sugar Ray Robinson is considered to hold that distinction, but above Leonard, I would also put Hearns. He was winning this fight, and many felt Hearns won the rematch many years later (a draw) even Leonard would say Hearns should have gotten the descision. from this fight Ray suffered a detached retina, and would retire for a while. Had an immediate rematch after this fight been done, who can say that Leonard would have won
