The tab is better? Really? I have an iPad and it's GREAT.

(1) The ipad has a bigger screen(big screen = better reading better movies , better everything)

(2) Both are priced around $600~700 (big gamble for samsung)

(3) The tab is operated by andriod which doesn't have enough apps to support

a tablet based device.

(4) The samsung tab price will GO DOWN in a few months. on the other hand

the iPad's price rarely changes thus giving the users a product that withstands it's resell value.

in my opinion each tablet has a specific use. ipad is for most people because of its simple easy to use OS. Galaxy Tab is for a more on the go kind of person because of its smaller more portable design . The Playbook is more of a professional tablet for business much like the blackberry phones. all in all they are all really good looking tablets and it's all about your personal preference.

Type in any search engine Samsung HDD or Samsung click and sound , and you will see thousands of distracted customers of various things from Samsung.

@vsigal I've got three Samsung Spinpoint harddrives(one of them is over 3 years old), a Samsung Monitor(~3 years old) and a Samsung Galaxy S. Sure I've heard of quality issues, although quite frankly I haven't seen more complaints about Samsung than I have with any other brand. And I have yet to experience any of these problems myself.

Awesome! If the price is reasonable, this thing is going to replace my iPad. I mean, look at it! It does everything that the Pad doesn't! Biggest thing, for me at least, is that it likely fits in your jean pocket. I hate carrying around my iPad, unless it's snug in my backpack. The big negative I see is that it's a touch screen and I hate touch-screen gaming. Still, I guess that's what my Nintendo 3DS will be for (if the 3DS is any good).
