  • are u kidding me,i dont want to think of the holy place yet

  • great video!!!

  • BEAUTIFUL JUST LOVE IT THANK YOU.

  • Beautifully done, but I did miss Gram Parsons.....

  • @katsongs he was awesome too...he and keith richards hung hard for a couple of years. if you want to hear 2 great song listen to nora jones dueting with keith and hickory wind for the parsons tribute eve

  • @platter1000 All the folk and "friends" who partied right along in those days, and lived to tell it, like to play judge and jury now about Gram, who often downplay his influence and historic importance...all I know is, every band/group he ever played with came to sound more like HIM, and never the other way around....he was faulted and had sorrow in his life, his music and singing style came from somewhere besides just "talent", and was gone way too soon. There but for the grace of God....

  • @platter1000 yes i have heard those 2 songs dedicated to gram parsons

just some of my more fovorite visits

he gave it all until the end

    damn he was good

i'm all confused but i have def listened to hicory wind and love huts

    bless

  • it was great would be perfect without reagan

  • @cashfan1 ah get out the violen's

  • This is a really neat old song. Well done. But it would have been better if each pic had a name because in time many of these faces won't be known.

  • What a beautiful arrangement of all the great artists we have lost. Great job! Thanks for sharing!!!

  • that was really lovely and well put together.

  • That was put together so very nicely.

  • I have to say this is beautiful. Not only the song the but pictures of those gone. Beautiful, beautiful.

  • 2:19 Is that Ronald Reagan next to Waylon? Where did you find that picture?

  • @ksufler Yes it is Ronald Reagan. That photo used to be on Waylon.com, before it was ruined and now no longer exists.

  • Beautiful, this song is so powerful and poetic. One of the best lyrics Johnny ever wrote.

  • gorgeous..

  • wow! like really wow!

  • this song did it for me, who can sing with emotion like johnny? the man was special and will never die in my heart.

IL MEET YOU IN HEAVEN JOHNNY!

  • acashfan1, I couldn't have put a better bunch of people together in this video than you did. Once in the mid 60's as a G.I. I went to a JC Show in San Antonio, some Airmen and I got in free. We had to sit in the isle though. When Johnny came on stage, he looked at us and said,"I won't start till my friends serving our country get seated here up front. After the show he signed autographs and talked with us. I thank him for his service. Thankyou for this great video.

  • Though we miss you John, I know that June did wait for you, just beyond the blue. Few people in the music industry had the impact that you had on this old world you left behind. No doubt, you will have a commanding roll in your new one.

  • Wow!!!

Never saw Cash or Waylon & will always regret that. Thankful tho - that Bill Joe Shaver & Willie Nelson are still singing & performing.

    John

  • My father passed away 4 months ago

We will meet in heaven someda!y

  • I'll 'lighten up' when I'm ready. Some people can't just enjoy a song for the song's sake, and I don't appreciate people like that.

  • GREAT Video, thanks for posting

    greeetings from germany

  • Someday I wish to be there with all these guys.

  • Doesn't matter, don't bring your personal opinions here, that's not why this video was made. Personally, I want to be buried with my guns, so me and John Wayne can go shoot rattlers in heaven.

  • @acashfan1 johnny and waylon are singing in heaven with angels

  • Throw away his gun? Sorry, The Duke isn't a sissy, and neither is God, he'd let ole John keep it.

  • I hope so too

  • we all will meet in bliss someday an i cant wait if u know what i mean haha peace and love to u all god bless

  • Thank you, Ronald Reagan's picture brought me to tears. God bless America!!!

I'm looking fo'rd to going there myself and joining them.

Heaven is free for the asking, but the gate is narrow.

Unlimited amounts of flights and tickets, so flights are boarding.

    Thank you Shirley for sending.

  • This is a beautiful song. Thank you for sharing. Shirley

  • ty for this post.reminds me how lucky i was to have grown up with ALL of these "stars".

anyone born after say 1980 is likley asking who these people are. we had all of these greats and they have brittney, nicole and people who are "famous" for being famous.

sadly it is a much different world.

  • age has nothing to do with your love and understanding of awesome music i was born in 1990 and am still wondering what in the hell happened to music, but johnny cash's last CD showed his true love, compassion, and soulfulness of music that you can only get from hard times, death and tragedy so do not ever say that it has anything to do wit your age, and im not saying that all your musicians today are shit, apparently johnny credited alot of musicians half of his last CD's where amazing covers.

  • great video, thanks

  • God forbid I go to a Heaven in which there is no Johnny Cash music.

  • Me too, I hope I'll see them in heaven one day! RiP Johnny and June!

  • I hope i meet them there.

  • Wow...that is wonderful...total Americana....

  • oh for goodness sake. iam crying. what a sad song.

  • There are none left now.....sad.

  • Seeing this makes me think of a George Jones song, "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?"

  • There is no one left in this world to do it.

  • Wow, I was thinking the same thing

  • acashfan1 - YOU are an artist! This video is beautiful.

  • Great. The vid is a reminder of all the entertainment people that are gone. It is hard to believe. Thanks

  • Glad to have a vid with this version of Johnny Cash's "Meet Me In Heaven", Awesome version!

  • Love, love, love this song. Great video, as always!!

  • Great tribute video, lots of legends in there, touching tribute to all of them :)
