I like how people are doing everything they can to get an ironic or cynical word in about things like this. It just goes to show you how much of a disconnect people have with the real world whens all they can rationalize is to spew rhetoric out about how a certain business sucks because one time, there was a documentary, and another time, there was this website. Situation is what it is, a tragedy; I commend loss prevention for doing that, but as they say, work smarter, not harder.
@billyfiction Not true at all we do still have items made in the good old USA. WalMart sells a few (LeatherMan is made in the USA) but the pouch it sits in sadly is made in Mexico or Asia. WalMart under pays and over works it workers! Drives out small mom and pop stores by under selling them. Then when out of business they jack the prices back up. Or they take a item in the store rise the price for a week. Then drop it back to the original price and mark as saving you money.
C'mon, I seriously doubt that any store employee would knowingly try to fight an armed shoplifter rather than just let him flee. That filthy animal probably didn't give him a fair chance to back off before he started stabbing him. So instead of just facing shoplifting, menacing, and armed robbery charges, he now faces a charge of attempted murder as well. Now THAT'S fucking stupid.
@logik316 It's sad to see that few people are willing to work out the situation like that, but props to you for actually taking the time out of your day to do it. :D

Its in indiana and he wasnt fired i work with him he actually ended up getting promoted. Not from the stabbing of course but he is a great associate!
