  • SHINDIG!!!! Has been brought to you by... WAL-MART. With over 100,000 stores nationwide, WAL-MART, Save Money, Live Better. And by SUBWAY, featuring the $ 5 .00 footlongs. SUBWAY!! EAT FRESH!!.

  • The series house band, the Shin-diggers (later renamed the Shindogs), featured a young Glen Campbell, Joey Cooper, Chuck Blackwell (drums), Billy Preston, James Burton, Delaney Bramlett, Larry Knechtel (on bass) and pianist Leon Russell.[6]

  • We did have fun then. Music and dancing was fun. We had such a good time. Sigh, I miss those daus.

  • OMG! LOL! I'm the roundest of them all!

    Let's do the fat dance!

    whoooooaaaaahhhh!

  • Bobby Sherman was a class act back then and still is as an EMT and more. What a noble profession he went into to help others.

  • Was this A live show? If so, I`m mighty impressed!!

  • Bobby pulls it off nicely! The chick drummer in The Honeycombs still rules ;-)

  • Honey Langtree great drummer

  • when i was stationed in SoCal, we never missed Shidig, or hull-a-ba-loo..

    great memories

  • shindig, isnt the man who used to present this now liing in some self built house as a kind of monk?

  • Is that the Alan Sues who used to be on laugh in?

  • Ooh, Donna Loren is my new fave 60s gal!

  • Who's the Roundest of them all?

  • Excellent! Back to the days when music was fun!!

  • I haven't seen Shindig since 1966, what made the show great was the fast pace nature of the show. It was over before you knew it, watching the gorgeous Donna Loren belt out a song takes me back 40+ years what a hottie!! It is too bad she retired from show business at 23, what a career she could have had!!

  • Thanks so much for posting this episode! Shindig! was just one of the all-time best music shows. Love the excitement of the live performances; Bobby Sherman is having so much fun with this song and I love how Donna Loren is backed up by the amazing Blossoms AND four of the Shindig dancers-notice how mid-song, they join their fellow dancers for a great routine and then race back to the mic-everyone's having a ball with this!
