I was letting my dog out and noticed how clear the night sky was. Looking up gazing at the stars there it was a huge trail from a super fast moving object what look to be at a very high altitude The trail it was leaving painted a huge abnormal contrast against the knight sky. Wonder if anyone else seen it?

A contrail from a plane at a 45 degree angle, with a large plume through all altitudes? I dont think so. Plume is too large and intact for something at such an angle from surface to high altitude. If it were a plane we'd see these all the time. Plus the helicopter pilots are not stupid, they knew what they were filming. At 0:51 there is a close up...

@saorsa64 have any of you people actually seen a missile launch? They move a HELL of a lot faster than a jet- it's not some slow arc and the trail doesn't taper off so slowly. Some of these missiles are traveling 7 times the speed of sound- far faster than the average jet. It's not impossible that it could be something other than a plane- but then, where there's a launch, there's a point of impact somewhere. And no such impact was ever reported.

And I actually never said it was a missle....although, it may have been a rocket of some sort; such as those seen reguarly in the space program!! The question(s) that remains is, if it was a rocket, where did it impact?...and what was the purpose behind the launch? Sorry, I can't buy the 'contrail theory'...too many logical arguments prove otherwise.
@JustMcLovin and you're able to determine the angle of trajectory from that shot? I think not. I wouldn't rule out jet exhaust- and I DO see things exactly like this- all the time. There's an airforce base not far from here, so it's quite common, especially in cold weather when the trail becomes more visible.

Ok, but where is this "thing" now? Of all the clips I've read and watched, nobody says anything about where it went or where it is now. Did it sink in the Pacific? Is it still airborne? I read if it is a missile it can remain in atmosphere for a week before a target is programmed into it.

What is the evidence that this is a missile and not an aircraft contrail backlit by the setting sun? I wasn't aware that anyone had an ICBM that traveled under 600 mph.
@robreyreynolds I also thought that this might be an aircraft contrail. But I've watched the video taken by the helicopter videographer and the early track of the object moves faster than the track of the object as it moves "higher" in apparent altitude, which is the opposite of what would happen if this were a contrail of an approaching aircraft. In addition, there is an extremely bright spot at the object which does not vary in intensity as you'd expect if it were reflected sunlight.

@cavemanbgood Someone actually linked a video doing just that to my other vid on this,(see info above), but if it was a military launch, why are they denying any knowledge of a launch?? What are they not telling us....again??? People would be less suspicious of gov't/military activity if they wouldn't lie and cover-up issues! If it was some sort of weapon or space program related experiment, they should say so, but to flat out deny it; makes you wonder what they're up to! They know everything!

Took them a whole 24 hrs to come up with that one.....better fire those script writers and hire some from some wrestling organization! A contrail from a plane at a 45 degree angle, with a large plume through all altitudes? I dont think so. Plume is too large and intact for something at such an angle from surface to high altitude. If it were a plane we'd see these all the time. Plus the helicopter pilots are not stupid, they knew what they were filming. At 0:51 there is a close up...

@saorsa64 have any of you people actually seen a missile launch? They move a HELL of a lot faster than a jet- it's not some slow arc and the trail doesn't taper off so slowly. Some of these missiles are traveling 7 times the speed of sound- far faster than the average jet. It's not impossible that it could be something other than a plane- but then, where there's a launch, there's a point of impact somewhere. And no such impact was ever reported.

@sonbuhitsunei actually, yes I have seen a missle launch....'86, '87, compliments of exercises during my enlistment. And I actually never said it was a missle....although, it may have been a rocket of some sort; such as those seen reguarly in the space program!! The question(s) that remains is, if it was a rocket, where did it impact?...and what was the purpose behind the launch? Sorry, I can't buy the 'contrail theory'...too many logical arguments prove otherwise.

@JustMcLovin and you're able to determine the angle of trajectory from that shot? I think not. I wouldn't rule out jet exhaust- and I DO see things exactly like this- all the time. There's an airforce base not far from here, so it's quite common, especially in cold weather when the trail becomes more visible.

Ok, but where is this "thing" now? Of all the clips I've read and watched, nobody says anything about where it went or where it is now. Did it sink in the Pacific? Is it still airborne? I read if it is a missile it can remain in atmosphere for a week before a target is programmed into it.

What is the evidence that this is a missile and not an aircraft contrail backlit by the setting sun? I wasn't aware that anyone had an ICBM that traveled under 600 mph.

@robreyreynolds I also thought that this might be an aircraft contrail. But I've watched the video taken by the helicopter videographer and the early track of the object moves faster than the track of the object as it moves "higher" in apparent altitude, which is the opposite of what would happen if this were a contrail of an approaching aircraft. In addition, there is an extremely bright spot at the object which does not vary in intensity as you'd expect if it were reflected sunlight.
