Those folks making $250,000 or more will have to pay more and will have their tax cut reversed. A middle class family with 3 children making $100,000 isn't rich and can use a break. There is a HUGE difference btwn an individual making $250,000+ versus a family of 3 making $100,000.

If Obama wants to double the capital gains tax, then isn't he technically raising taxes on middle class and poor people who invest in stocks? There are some people who make 40 grand a year playing stocks. So you are raising taxes on them.

I believe you really, really should make a trip to europe. And also, take a look at the movie Sicko from Michael Moore. Following some rules to get funds makes in no way for a communist gouvernment. Don't polute the environment or you can't build your factory their. And if you make your factory extra enviroment friendly, we will pay part of these efforts back. Well, Obama is raising taxes for the rich on a large scale. Which I think is smart, see the rich put those huge piles of money into things like trust funds, college tuition, charities, ect; things that don't have taxes. However the middle class's extra money through tax cuts, will go into spending on products that have taxes on them. So in turn, I believe we will recieve a greater ammount being put into our treasury through Obama's plan.

There were no "Bush Tax cuts". . .only "Bush tax deferrals". Because Bush continued to borrow enormous sums from China, which will have to be paid back by your children & your childrens children, and then agin, their children.

I like the idea and am glad you're doing them but the rebuttals should be more clear. Which "independent organizations"? Put 'em on the screen as text. Perhaps Orielly style.
Why have cute check marks for things like "Proposed tax cuts for..."? Instead show a screenshot of the page on the site where it's in writing. Include the url & date posted on the screen.
Also, the "this ad is a lie" line going around is too soft! "John McCain is lying to you" is the truth and is not an attack.

Its become almost like a knee-jerk reply from skeptical voters when talking about the Democratic candidate to say "He's going to raise our taxes!", but very few people actually stop to find out HOW or WHICH taxes will be raised and on which people, or even IF they'll be raised at all.

Ivdid, what are you talking about? The examption we can all take (individal, single, family). Those have been around ever since I've been paying taxes and I'm 61. THe do increase periodically due to inflation.
Nothing in Obama's proposal would eliminate these. Plus Obama expands the maximum child and dependent care credit for families with one young child from $1,050 to $1,500 and phases down the credit over a longer income range, from $30,000 to $58,000.

Prosche51688, Obama will protect tax cuts for poor and middle class families, but he will reverse most of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest taxpayers. Those folks making $250,000 or more will have to pay more and will have their tax cut reversed. A middle class family with 3 children making $100,000 isn't rich and can use a break. There is a HUGE difference btwn an individual making $250,000+ versus a family of 3 making $100,000.

The Bush Tax Cuts are not "Tax Cuts" they are "Tax Deferments".
What does that mean? It means simply that for every dollar you get under the Bush Cut, your grandchild will have to pay $7 in interest.
