Okay well im 15 so i don't have a huge head but i want to wear some oversized goggles with a helmet. Will Dragon APX fit with a helmet or no, because if not i'll get the Electric EG2's which i know can fit with a helmet. Also what's your preference, EG2's, APX, Splice, anon Hawkeye, vonzipper Fishbowl? Thanks!
@Twiqted I used to have a pair of Anons... and they didn't work too great... I mean they were okay, but fogged up really easy and didn't fit my helmet too well. I HIGHLY reccommend the splice goggles, they are a little pricy, but the crowbars are also just as good. Oakley offers the best lenses, and I have had 3 helmets with the current goggles that I own (Splice) and the goggles fit great with all 3 (Bern Watts, Smith Holt, Rossi)
If you don't know if they will fit, bring ur helmet to a store.
One important thing worth noting is the fit between the profile of the goggle and the helmet (if you wear one). It's my first season and I picked up Oakley goggles and a Red helmet from two different stores, both awesome and fitting well separately, but they do not fit together and I have to push my helmet back a bit when wearing the goggles, annoying.
@thehouseboardshop oakley splice are the best... i have them in pink reflective (they honestly dont look that pink) and they are perfect for northwest skiing and cloudy days at $150
@GangsterSnazz The DX are great goggles and have been a standard for years. You might be better off getting something with a spherical lens. Like the Oakley Wisdom or The Electric EG2
@dkang57 just get an electric goggle. you not only get the best lens and peripheral vision. electrics of any model will never fog. a frames sit very far off your face, fog and have tunnel vision. once electric you will never go back. go to electric. com to check them out.
@raleighbikes22 They are pretty basic goggles that do the trick. If you look for some good goggle the EG2 is where it's at, thanks to the Spherical Polycarbonate Lens
@thehouseboardshop I have a ski google that also put pressure on my nose, but it also is like a little bit to short on the underside of the goggle, like its a little bit to close to my eye, where does the underside needs to be on my face? (i'm so sorry for my horrible english...)
@MistrManknBoefkick No Worries your English is fine there is no need to apologize. A little pressure is ok but it sounds to me like you need to get some new goggles. I wold say that the goggles should sit just under the ridge of the zygomatic bone near your nose. If it feels like they are too close to your eyes they probably are.
@danielpb10 Not 100% sure what you are getting at but, goggle should always feel pretty comfortable, pinching is never good. Do you have goggles where the airflow getting obstructions? how is it getting obstructed.
@thehouseboardshop i mean like in the nose canal. like it doesnt close my nose shut or anything but it feels like the pressure of it near my nose but not exactly on it or the sides makes me feel weird... maybe its just me needing to get used to it
@danielpb10 having goggle is better then not having goggles... I would suggest going and trying some on this winter perhaps try some of of your friends goggles for one run. sooner then latter you will find a pair that fits you perfect.
If you have never snowboarded on a "real" snowboard but you can longboard without any problems will there be a huge difference between the two. also a guy told me that if you can carve and do tricks on a toy snowboard you should be able to do the same thing on a real one. I know this is probably really confusing but yeah reply back if you can. Thanks
@nrdRus Yes there is difference between the two. The mechanics of skate boarding is very different from snowboarding. But, if you can turn and stop on a cheap plastic board you should do great on a real board.
hey i got electric eg1 bronze/red lenses and it said the VLT is 24% so it isnt letting in too much light. will it affect my riding because everything might seem darker
@AImosTskater44 Your eyes will adjust. The Bronze tint enhances shadow contrast. They can be used in bright sun to cloudy conditions, so you be good to go!
what days would black/jet lenses be good for? Im looking to get these goggles. Will fit right with a helmet? There the dragon dx goggles with the jet lense
what's the best type of lense to snowboard for night riding? but i also wanna look good while wearing them. i have oakley crowbars. someone please help!
FML i just bought these beaut gogl=gles that were oaklys and they were expensive but when i used them for the first time i tookem off and gave them to my mom she ended up loosing them and now i have to use my dirk bike goggles and theres a huges mark over the left eye so when im snowboarding it blends in an d i cant c anything :(:'(
I do mostly riding at night with fairly strong lights I really don't like colored lenses so I was thinking clear with a slight mirror cuz mirror is just sick
Hey, im looking for lenses for my EGB's for bluebird conditions, but i dont know what lenses to get and if they are compatable with my model of goggles. Can you help? Thank you.

@thehouseboardshop Hey how can I know those oakleys with the matte white pink iridium lenses are authentic. Because on the oakley site you can't even buy crowbars matte white/pink iridium lenses. So I Mean how do I know they are authentic. also people selling it on Ebay for same price 75-100 $ and it looks really fake please answer.!
@22echab22e Haha, what? Uh, I'm pretty sure there isn't such a thing as knock off snowboard goggles. I guess there could be, but I've never run in to the problem. I checked the Oakley site, and they're on there... I don't know what to say man, they're authentic.
@22echab22e it could be a discontinued option. Oakley changes the options ALOT. Also, they could be a custom model. Oakley offers a customizable option on the website with the Oakley crowbar. He could have bought the matte white crowbars with a different lens and then he could have switched it for pink iridium and changed it himself. I did this with my crowbars. You can purchase the lenses separately.
@murphythecableguy I rock a helmet very often, and I have the EG2's. I look a little bug eyed, but who cares. Moral of the story is I can see everything, they're incredibly comfortable, they fit with my helmet and I'm not paranoid about brain damage when I'm trying to step up to something.... as much, haha. Yeah, I would recommend the EG2's, they're amazing.
@Destination92 Yes we do! But there are only certain brands that we can ship out of the country. For costs, on our web site go to our Help Desk, under shipping costs click on International Orders. That should tell you a little more. And if you have more questions email us at intship(at)the-house(dot)com. Someone will help you all the way through.
