sick cover dude, I've been trying to learn this but I'm not there yet, and I've been drumming almost as long as you've been alive. on left snare blast try turning your left hand over more, so palms down a little more (match the position of your right hand) that should get it up to the needed 280bpm. Bass drum sounds dead on, blast with right hand snare is just sick!

No hate here, but why aren't you playing traditional blasts where they're called for? Is it just because they take so much more stamina? For example, the first blast at 1:00, and when the ride comes in at 1:42. I know you definitely can do them, because you throw them in there every once in a while, I was just wondering why you leave them out for the most part.

How long did it take you to get it down this much? I'm still shocked you were able to okay it this well. Also how's swivel on your knees? I have a bad left knee, but I want to get a different foot technique down instead of just your basic ankle motion. Anything above 220 ish and I start getting sloppy

You're doing double strokes on your feet. Not single/swivel. BTW swivel is not a technique, its just the natural movement of your ankles at high speeds when drumming.

Lol I think I would know what technique I'm using, I cant even do heel toe/double with my feet. and Swivel is a technique, its like saying heel up/heel down, flat foot, etc. aren't foot techniques. If your just letting your foot do it randomly then its not a technique but if you do it the way Kollias or Tim Yeung does it, then it is, which is the way i do it

@djrewind5 I made that comment because from 1:42-1:50 your right pedal is moving at the same speed when you switch from single blast to double bass. And at certain double bass parts, the speed at which your right pedal is moving is the same speed you move it to produce the single blasts. Do you have foot cams by chance?

We'll not really sure why it looks that way but I did all singles, and yes I use foot cams, I recently haven't because my extra camera was stolen and I didn't have any more stamina to do a separate take for just just feet, plus the times i did try it just wasn't tight enough for me to want to put it. DW 8 x 14 Stainless steel snare, It has a ton more body and low end in person, the mic was just angled too far to the side so it picked up a ton of high end

Not bad, provided it is an incredibly difficult song. The bass drum work was especially impressive and very precise. But your blast beats lack some endurance and slow down often. Also almost every fill was off or played incorrectly. Your biggest issue seems to be time, which is essential. The songs is very hard though and I applaud you for doing this well. But perhaps you could work on timing and fills a little more next time.

I had the track playing in the headphones but the volume kept dropping in and out randomly o.o thats why some parts are a bit scetchy and the snare mic just became really hot because i knocking it closer to the edge in the take before and didnt it, the snare's a 8x14 tunned generally low so it sounds nothing like that in person lol
