@vindinArges Murrow was very outspoken and biased against Sen. McCarthy and the McCarthy hearings. He directly addressed them in editorial comments at the end of his show. Olbermann was very much like him in many ways, especially during the Bush years.

@Starburstlvr except you seem to be placing Bush and McCarthy in the same category which I think is short-sighted, Olbermann should've stuck to sportscenter

kWell said, Senator. What I find particularly interesting is that Annie Lee Moss is a black woman and the senator is a white man clearly from the south. Yet when he sees the injustice and "evil" of this, he feels compelled to speak up. Well said, and good for you Senator.
