Crab does not get shredded on the typical California roll, you never need to add more seasoning to sushi vinegar and the sizer of sushi is up to you.If you want to get picky about how big they HAVE to be and what not none of the many popular styles of sushi are authentic anyways so there is nothing wrong with playing around however you like. Nigiri or rather edo period sushi Play around when making though never let some idiot tell you how it HAS to be

  • @suyon1004 it's incredibly difficult to get the rice and fillings exactly right every time which is why it's easier to just go to a sushi restaurant, unless you've mastered it.

  • they use also the rice that was on the buttom. That is sooo wrong because as you can see that part is a little bit brown...and that influenced the tast of the rice in a bad way!!!!!!!!

  • Do you have to cook imitation crab or can you just use it the way you buy it? I have never bought or even know if I am going to be able to find imitation crab at Walmart or some other store, but I am wanting to know just in case I do find it. :)

  • So far, best video I've seen. Better detail than the Sushi Now ones. I would use less rice for the large one though and make a nice futomaki. yum!! Everyone says to use water for hands whereas I've heard to use vinegar on hands. I like the water idea much better if it works. Also, the mystery of 'inside out' exposed! Great video!
