the sea level is rising because of global warming and climate change. And these happens every few centuries, it's a cycle for the planet to sustain itself. The world will be flooded even more tremendously as how it has always been happening over 4 billion years. It's just shocking for us because it's the first time our kind is seeing this change in nature.
