Tiny space but you are a very tall girl (taller than me). And thanks for learning more locks than just a chest lock, that gets so boring. I am greatful for your adoration in the past. It meant alot.

Simply stop dancing (unless you get well paid).I have done performers for many years now, and I know that theres nothing worse than an audience who dont care what you are doing! Not watcing the performer is rude. The last years I dont had that problem anymore, simply because I know what normal (read dont know anything about bellydancing) want now, and every audience is different.
Its not easy but never give up. A bad audience is a hard experience, but we all will meet them
and remember... you are probably a much better bellydancer than any in your audience, simply because, if there is any better bellydancers, they would love to see you dance!
Audience reaction is unpredictable, especially in restaurants. Middle Eastern audiences r sometimes better than "western" audiences, but not always, because of conservatives that don't approve of women dancing in public. Audiences often want to support dancers but they r not sure what is appropriate(should they look at your naked belly? should they clap, or not?)so they won't look at all. Perform within the dance commnity itself, at haflas, festivals that dancers sponsor to support their art.
I think if she was on a much bigger space her traveling wouldn't be so limited :) I think as AMAZING as she is in this vid, she would really burst out with energy and even more beautiful dancing with a lot more space.
No, but still, she could still travel more in the space she has. She's stiff, and doesn't use her arms and legs as she should. But she's not bad, ofcourse, she does have potential.
That's a judgment call. Personally, I love how she keeps her arms out of the way and doesn't have them flailing all over the place, blocking the view. I want to see that awesome body grinding - not her arms.

I too have emailed back-and-forth with Rachel. I wanted to do a show/workshop here in Toledo...and had her lined up as one of two main teachers/performers. Until, that is, my wife put the proverbial kabaash to my plans. But alas, she is one my all-time MOST favorite dancers. I'm still holding out hope that one day, I'll drum for her.
I actually have the pleasure of knowing Rachel, and not only is she an absolutely fabulous dancer... she is an absolutely fabulous person! She dances even better in person. I love this lady!!
