Even when it's REALLY obvious something is wrong, he's still coasting it in on 4000rpm.
Should've changed up and nursed it to the pits as soon as he had that hesitation from the engine a few corners after the touch. Would've saved a whole lot of engine.
1. this guy cannot drive and 2. its an r53 cooper these arent turbo'd there supercharged and 3. that e92 m3 blew buy that thing so fast i almost fell off my couch laughing
@png0926 I will worry bout my trains, thanks, but I also have a right to comment bout your mistake because I own an E92 335 and know that gen. like the back of my hand..so i'm just as much of a car guy too. Smartass.
@MsCrazyboyz classic mini's fold right up!! they have no crumple zone's what so ever! believe me i own one my self ,if i crash doing 30 im going to suffer very major injury's
@englandman2008 it depends witch year you have i know people hoe have crashed it at 50 and they was fine but good point but they aint a saxo - all you need is to put supports on the front end or a roll cage and they do have crumple zones the inner wings acts in a crash :)
@MsCrazyboyz thats silly. Even dont i hate BMW i had one mini, they are very decent cars. but ....it´s a mini, it´s not a car design for high speed roads. but it´s fast alright!!
Taking a street car onto a race track without aux gauges and few mods is taking a risk anyway. Despite what anyone says racing really is damaging to any stock vehicle.
Also he knew something was wrong already. Hence he's short shifting after the accident. He was trying to get back to the pit as fast as he could. but was too late.
You see when he got hit he was sliding out all over the place, and then you can hear the marbles? Although it does look like it was raining, I would assume the guy who made the assumption about the Oil cooler is right. Hit the oil cooler started loosing oil, and before that, the way he lost grip was due to the oil spraying onto the wheels.
@SOPM2007 My guess is that seen as this is a turbo race car, they installed an outward facing oil cooler somewhere in the lower bumper where it can grab air, damage that unit and you could be facing serious oil loss.
@SOPM2007 new cars are made to break.... haven't you noticed how everything I mean EVERYTHING that you buy now days breaks SOOOO fast? Back in the days they made things to last, people didnt have money to replace things, so they had to last. Now its all about consumption, you NEED this, you NEED that, every year there is a new model and you HAVE to upgrade... thats why I stick to max 80s cars, no electronics just the min required....
@smokinblu1 *old man voice* Back in MY day we had to walk to the car dealership uphill both ways! And our ol' tried and true cutlass ran on golden gasoline from the ESSO station for a nickel a fill up. The kids these days in their little european cars. haha im just playing around you make a good point
@camcam352 lol... im not that old (30) but its true, I remember thing use to last, in the 90s u'd buy a TV and it would do u good for a long time, now they have flat screen, ULTRA flat, 3d etc... all for what? NOTHING ....
Just look at the cars from the 50,60.70 and maybe 80s they r still around, we will see in 10-20 years if we will still have 90s +00s cars, I thing not, they are PIECES OF SHIT!!!
@smokinblu1 idk, my 2000 Jetta 1.8T (11 years young) had 127K miles on it and people still mistook it for a 2009 model (people who don't know Jetta obviously since they changed body styles). that thing still ran like a top. You just have to maintain these cars and since people these days don't know shit about cars many of them end up in scrapyards full of sludge or blown heads from snapped timing belts.
@germankid93 I agree with you, but the reason that people know always less about cars is because the manufacturer makes it like that. In my past cars (76 buick regal, 83 golf1 , 86 golf gti, 89 golf gti) I can do a basic service and other jobs by my self (oil + oil filter change, air filter, spark plugs, alternator, and various other things). These days if you dont go to your authorized dealer or do the job yourself you void the vehicle warranty. Just a bunch of BS in my opinion
@smokinblu1 yeah, pretty much just another way for stealerships to bend you over. but the Golf/Jetta 4 cylinders will last absolutely forever if you keep up with the maintenance. That block has been around practically since the dawn of time and is still going strong today, another example is GM's LS engine series which i think is the same basic design as it was in the 60s
to everyone who thinks it's supercharged.... take a listen. no whine. it's modded with a turbo and yes I own a mini that's supercharged. same generation he changed what's under the hood a bit....
