  • The Tenori-on can actually be used to create seriously beautiful music!

    A living proof:

    youtube.com/watch?v=sMeH1xkYc1E

  • NEEDS TO BE MY RINGTONE!!!

  • how much are they!??!?!

  • Could I Use This For An Add?

  • this thing is actually quite rubbish ...lol

  • Fuck you men that volume is too large

  • I'm trying to figure out who decided to put flashy shapes and bring the value down hugely because it makes it market like an overpriced toy.. otherwise i think its good.

  • for live gigs it is cool i think

  • Wow, people either hate this or they love it.

  • Sorta like a portable sequenser (notepad of Ideas) basically this can do *A handheld digital musical instrument *Can create up to 16 layers of sounds *Allows DJs & producers to 'jam / improvise' within their set BPMs. *Intuitive, instantaneous operation *MIDI compatible *16x16 matrix of LED switches *Has internal sound effects *Samples can be loaded from external sources (yay) *Ten function buttons *Can store up to 16 programmed blocks (16-layer groups)
  • basically a flashy way of doing the same thing devices at half the price can do.

  • yes & no.

other things will do similar things but not in the same way, its all about the interface.

...and the devices you see that appear to do it in the same way are just copies of this.

Its a cool device but very over priced, If yamaha had any sense they would have priced this thinh WAY lower, if they had evryone would have bought them.

  • exacly what i watn!

  • if you have $999

  • Just call it what it is, a geeknoisegenerator.

  • geeknoisegenerator<< cool word alert, no 1 competitor of dorknoisegenerator

  • I bet if someone rapped to it you would appreciate it. >_>

  • Its like monome...

  • i think give it 3 or 4 years and these will be less than £100 once they start mass producing them. You gotta realise these things are like hand built right now and its a totaly new technoligy. When plasma screens 1st came out how much did they cost? now u can get a hd lcd screen for less than £300 the price will go down

  • Holy shit I need to get one of these @_@

  • i still don't understand how to make it work... if i had one i would just randomly touch the screen XD

  • yeah i would too

  • Very unique intrument

  • Clean... Very Nice

  • maybe if it didn't cost so much..

it would be considered as more of a toy than an annoying wonnabe music making device.

  • It costs just a wee... $1,200!!!!! Get a life. This thing is a child's play toy affordable only by the big rich guy that just happens to live down the street and drives a black Mercedes-Benz! PLEASE PEOPLE!

(By the way, look the TENORI-ON up and you will find out that i am not lying about the price. For Pete's sake! TENORI-ON even SOUNDS expensive.)

  • /agreed

    It's not worth it IMO.

  • were do u get this!? plz anserw!

  • ebay you cant afford it

  • i couldt belive my ears when i looked at this,

its really produced? who can buy this toy? kids under 6?

i ve been watched 4-5 of this movies the stupidy of the music produced is embaracing. imbarazzante

  • Cant really say many good things about this, It is awfully expensive for what it is, elektroplankton on the nintendo ds is a cheaper option if u like lights and sound, also have a look at the korg kaosillator no lights no lights though. :)

also look at grooveboxes like korg electribe or mc-808 from roland these cost about the same as (or less than) a tenori-on but are much greater and more powerful music making tools.

  • ptdr faut il etre autiste avec un don pr toucher à cette becane? ptdr

  • Where can I buy one of those?

  • This is the best tenori-on demo I've heard of all the tenori-on demos.

  • This is soo cool

  • Cool =O

  • mam takie w domu
