  • The music on the fire breathing dragon level is awsome personified.

  • And great warter effect at 10:30 !

  • This game was fun. I would have liked to see the Thalion intro with the water drops pearling on the logo... It had a very atmospheric chip tune, excellent to put you in the right mood.

  • The Music ,damn ... so awesome!

  • old games have a soul......unlike the new ones, just great graphics, but no soul.....

  • Oh Shiiiiit... I remember this. My Brother had this when he had his Amiga.

I used to stay up til about 2am weekends playing this!

  • I've upload a new video showing the hidden easter egg in chamber "Test of the stick". Watch it and have fun. :-)

  • I cant get the data disk to work on the emulator. i use write enabled etc but i can neither create a character disk nor save the characters.

thanks for posting this! it was one of my fave games from back then and i never actually got to see the dragon.

  • The training chambers was what the game was really about. It was so great and so much fun.

Even the idea of a game about training is brilliant.

    Thanks for posting!

  • I really do hope you used your knowledge wisely ! :P

  • This game is one of the best Amiga games. I am dying to get my hands on a copy of this game but cant find it. wow. The training ROCKEDDDDDDDDD

  • Damn, I was so close to finish that game but the dragon was always killing me :(

However, soundtrack of that game just rocks ! Love it !

  • Dude, that is so awesome. I played that when I was a little boy so many years ago. My son really needs to see this the next time he beats the crap out of me in SC ;-)

    Thank you so much.

  • Why dont you post your own, MUCH superior longplay then? Oh right because youre too busy writing on YouTube how awesome you are!

  • So many Sunday mornings wasted on this game. It appears I knew nothing of how it actually worked, and just spent ages on the training stages.

    Oh well.

    The music was quite good.

  • i made it 100-100-100-100 too always ...

the force was with me ^^

  • I enjoyed this game a lot. It has a great atmosphere and it's fun building up stats and gaining new attacks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the awesome soundtrack is by Jochen Hippel aka Mad Max (the famous Atari ST composer).

  • So in order to master Shaolin Kung Fu, all you have to do is kick a dragon in the face a bunch of times? Wow, where do I sign up?

  • wasn't there a dude in the back of chamber 1 that comes to watch and leans against the fence and then the fence breaks and he falls down and the fence falls on his head? that was funny and pretty distracting.

  • Yep. Caused me to ROFLMAO the first time I saw it, and of course I failed the test. :)

  • i think i played the game only because to see this gag over and over again

  • thank you, this is awesome lots of memories

  • Same here... I played this when i was a kid, i remembered shaloin only and found this thank yu

  • i loved the music of the first chamber...cool to listen to it again after so many years

  • jochen hippel made the soundtrack i believe?

would love to see rings of medusa recorded. but it would be a 24 hour video, ak

  • Gotta love that music.

  • Where's the guy on the railing in the first stage? A guy comes and watches for a while, then the rail breaks suddenly and he falls down.

It was so funny... made me lose my concentration the first time this happened :)

  • Damn what a great game i was! im havin a tear in my eye :-)

  • LOVED this game!

  • *Snort* I laughed my ass off when the Stick-Master gave him one on the noggin at 1:00 after all that jumping up and down he'd been doing.

  • they SHOULD do a remake of this! it's too awesome!!

  • can someone tell me were i can get a character disc rom for this game???

  • You can create it in the game.

Just make an empty floppy in the emulator, and switch disks when the game prompts you to. :)

  • Very well done.

I've one question. How did you master the "test of strength"? I've toggle stick left and right very fast, but that's the wrong way? Is there a trick?

  • There is a very usefull tip for the "test of the stick" : the number of attacks appears before he strikes. If you step down at this moment you will dodge the attack.

  • Nice vidéo thank you I never can see the end cubex55 you are best amiga ^^

  • Awesome but hard game, never finished all tests perfect :(

  • I did, except for the fifth (board-breaking) test. I always had trouble gathering enough strength to break the board.

  • I still don't know how that works.

  • The board test? You gotta hit the center of the board(s) you wan to chop through, then rythmically move the joystick (I don't know what you have to use) left and right to gather strength to chop. But the more boards you get, the harder it gets, too.

  • Joystick Killer, just move the stick left and right quickly.

Pres fire to aim, then kill your stick, and be sure to have enought "strength" when the time runs out.

It does NOT work well on the emulator. It was fairly easy on the original amiga.

  • Guess I'll try that again :)

  • Holy crap... i never beated the damn dragon... youre one hell of a player !

  • I have, a number of times. Just kick at the head and dodge its fire gouts, that's all.

  • Ive never been able to dodge the damn fire balls... always thought thei are not dodgeable..... i never thought that there is ONE certain moment were you can duck... I was a kid at that time too .. :)

  • There is a certian pattern which the fireballs take. i know that as a kid it's difficult to discern, but it can be done.

  • I´ve just uploaded this video and some others on Stage6 and they work!

I´ve downloaded them from your website..

Is it OK for you? Do I need any other permission or something else?

    Thx!

  • Yes, please upload more! :)

I'm to lazy to convert mp4 files to div-x myself.

  • Actually it would be awesome if you could upload all of our videos to stage6 as long as you keep the original video disclaimer and info - thanks :)

  • Wow! That sounds great.

Is it possible to get your videos on a HDD or some DVDs?

I can sent you a HDD if you like.

It makes the whole case easier.

Of course I´ll keep the original disclaimer and any other info you like.

    Regards from Germany!

  • Just download them from our mirror websites they should have a few MBit of download speed. The best way to contact us is via IRC, see our webpage for the details.

  • played a lot when I was a child!
