  • another helpful and good video Thank you.

  • I will speak as a Luciferian.

Luciferianism is one of the three Satanist paths an individual can follow.

Laveyan and Theist Satanists appear to be confused what we are.

The critical difference is that Luciferians see Lucifer/Satan as a force.

Luciferians don't worship gods or any entity, and if a person does then they are not Luciferian, rather they are Theistic or some sort of Wiccan.

    Lucifer is equivalent to Prometheus.

Satan and Lucifer were just titles in the Jewish context when studied.

  • I like this video and you make some very valid points. I'm Luciferian and although I follow a left hand path, I'm not a Satanist.

  • Lucifer to luciferians is the power that flows through all things, similar to a native american aspect of spiritual energy. as it is said 'sic luceat lux' which is latin for 'so shines the light'. Luciferians believe in the ultimate enlightenment... which in other words is the ultimate recognition of self and the power that flows through us all. Lucifer is love and lucifer is hate, lucifer is happiness and lucifer is sorrow, our emotions are a reflection of the internal balance of power.

  • you are very pretty :)

I actually like dark girls like you, I think that being a luciferian is very sexy ;)

  • Unfortunately, im not luciferian

  • I know this question may sound weird, but...

Have you met Luciferians who didn't believe in magic? Or do you think there are Luciferians who don't believe in magic?

  • @MdP2, yes i have

  • SATAN = SAT NAM = Knowledge of GodHead.... Lucifer is the new rising demigod power that will rule the new aeon. Lucifer represents Self Advancement and Improvement. Jehovah = Jealouse, Wrathy bitch demogod that is losing his power to the new king of the aeon "Lucifer". Yes he is an adversary of Jehovah allrite..

  • well, i am pretty qualify.... -- lucifer means brighter or light or flush, sky, and or something like that, okay. i honestly, i learn from satanic bible. Hail Anton Lavey.

  • Question, (just because I know absolutely nothing about satanism..) Do you believe in God? I don't mean Satan, I mean like.. The christian God? I'm not trying to bash you or anything, i'm just curious..

  • Sure, i believe that the christians have a god that they worship. there are many gods.

If i had a nickel for every time i answered that question I would be rich.

  • Thanks

  • @punkduck123 no satanist see satan as a force.

  • Atheistic Satanism is retarded. If your an atheist than you should not see the point of doing "satanic" rituals and shit. If your going to called your self a satanist....beleave and worship the REAL satan as a GOD.

  • @gaaraman08

A bit harsh... tis not 'retarded' however i see your point that they are using religious type rituals in their satanic expression.

I also think that the mode of LaVeyan ritual was meant to be symbolic, a 'psychodrama' intending to rid the self of guilt or association or to assert personal power.

Just because they do not worship Satan does not mean that they aren't satanists. it just means that they have a different mode of operation.

  • Luciferian can be both spiritual or materialistic. Luciferians believe in self improvement wether that is material, spiritual or watever.

  • check out a book called 'the horn of evenwood' by pendraig publishing

it's a dark grimoire revolving around the Lord and Lady of Hell, you may find it interesting

  • Luciferianism and Satanism is a concept,

an idea , just as God is. We create these

    concepts.

I like to say, "on the first day, man created God."

And of coarse that goes both ways. We also

created the devil. For something to exist,

you, me, and thee must agree. Collective

power of thought. The majority rule, which

    I despise!

  • @keithallenlaw

Sure, every culture has its religious mythologies, satanism is no different

  • very interesting!!! <3

  • to a good book on Luciferianism i recommend "the bible of the adversary" by Michael W. Ford

    Test and question everything...

    Hail Satan,hail Lucifer

  • Why do you recommend this book?

  • It gives some basic info on Luciferianism and its Magick for those who want to know more about it.

The luciferian views the Adversary from many different cultures, from Samael,Ahriman and so on. Archetypes wich has existed long before christianity began. All reconizable within.

  • /thank you

  • I liked this video. I was confused by the fact of Lucifer possibly being Satanic worship. But her definition and the fact that she stated that the satanic bible uses Lucifer for the east let me see that he is not worshipped as Satan. I am studying Luciferianism and current practicing witchcraft and buddhism. My husband started watching videos on Luciferianism and this sparked my interest. She did a good job of the distinction and I have added this to my favorites.

  • Thank you very much, I am glad that it has been enlightening to others..

  • The new look is cool. Fascinating views, I love your videos. Magic is in the air.

  • I remeber reading Set being another name of Satan... How did that come about?

  • From people trying to label pre christian gods as satanic. A prototype or archetype.

  • In Islam, the Devil is known as Iblis (Arabic إبليس) or Shayṭān (Shaitan) (Arabic: شيطان ‎) (plural: شياطين Shayatin). According to the Qur'an, God created Iblis out of "smokeless fire" (along with all of the other djinn) and created man out of clay. The primary characteristic of the Devil, besides hubris, is that he has no power other than the power to cast evil suggestions into the heart of men and women.

  • Neat.

Theres many many religions with their own stories.

    Thanks for the history lesson.

Though it has nothing to do with my video or the topic at hand...

  • As I can see Satan is Lucifer is the same but the idea and the symbolic aspect was chance to create the villain of the story of Jesus and the Christin church. Sorry for the 3 comment is was difficult for me to try summarize such complex issue. Take care...

  • ...the Christians who believe there is 3 Gods, Jesus as a main ruler, holly spirit, the connection between us and Jesus, then God. who is supposed to be Jesus father

which is not true even some Jews thing that Jesus is Lucifer. That is way they Kill him and try to bury him. But they fail. The trues is that the new testament is a lie. It was constructed by the Catholic church to gain religion authority.

  • Is the same thing, The origin of Lucifer come from Jews and the origin of Satan come from Christians. What is happening is that the Bible is Compose in two books the New and old Testament. The different between those books are that old testament is the writing of Moises and the believe that is only one God Jahweh and the new testament come from... • A) You are correct, Venus. Your hair is absolutely fabulous...of course it wouldn't matter what color it is, so much as the head that it's on that makes it so.

    B) Sorry, SpritualSlutt, but the earliest version of the text of Revelations 13:17-18 yet found is the Oxyrhynchus Papyri and, in fact, it lists the number of the beast as chi iota stigma (600 + 10 + 6). Additionally, the Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus lists the number as hexakosiai deka hex (616).

  • fantastic!!!

  • In the Black Mass, Satan dn Lucifer seem to be the same deity but this probably meant to emphasize the anti-christian nature of the exercise. Brother Nero will have none of this 'averse or reverse christianity' and claims that is not part of real Satanism!

  • part 2: have trouble considering Satanism (or even paganism) a religion as well. I think you describe it best when saying 'the Left Hand Path.' Religion always has a ring of 'flock' or 'conformity' or 'obidience' to it and I can't associate these words with Satanism, Paganism, Gnostic, Discordia, or modern Heretics ;)

  • @aziraphale1334:

    #1

The word 'religion' comes from the latin etymologic origin 're-ligare' which means 'to reconnect'. Your Religion is the 'frequency' or 'channel' by which you get yourself 'tuned' or 'online' with all which is not material (Allah/Tao, spirits, etc.). Religion is the way or manner how you 'bind' or 'connect' to the immaterial part of your universe and it does not necessarily imply flock-mentality, conformity or obedience.

  • @aziraphale1334:

    #2

If Satanism isn't a 'real' religion, it isn't because of the reasons you mentioned but because most Satanists don't focus on spiritual or mental elevation (heaven, nirvana, etc.) but rather on material accomplishments and carnal pleasures. Satanism eventually works more like a counter-religion than a religion as Satanists don't waste time keeping a solid 'connection' to the immaterial and tend to adopt anti-religious (typically, anti-Christianity) behaviours.

  • Actually, 'satan' is an ancient Greek word for 'advesary/antagonist.'

Luciferianism is more of a philosophy than a religion, Lucifer meaning 'morning star, light bringer, fist light, etc' by defination a lucifer (or lucufera) would be one seeking knowledge, or the light of truth. The Fool archetype in the Tarot.

  • i love your hair you did a good job ~leslie

  • Have you seen Lucifer yourself?

  • And since this was mentioned, then in the Greek text of Revelation, "666" was just three Greek letters: '

    Khi-Xi-Stigma.'

Back then there were NO numbers so numerical values were given to phonetic letters for measure/trade/commerce/weights/etc. This was no Esoteric Numerology BS, just common sense in Trade.

    So it was this way:

    Khi = Χ = 600

    Xi = ξ = 60

    Stigma = ϛ = 6

    666 = Χξϛ

So now You know what it originally looked like more than most Church-Bangers.

  • a question though, (off topic but interesting none the less)

it has been revealed that the number of the beast in revelation is actually '661' and that it was mistranslated.

    Ever hear of this theory?

  • I've heard a number of errant individuals ascribe '661' & '616' to this issue. BUT... they are playing with Numerology rather than the common Trade/Commerce of the actual Greek letters 2000+ years ago. Back then, though Rome spoke in Latin, the common Language was Greek throughout the Empire. Like English as 2nd Language now. The above was taken from the Textus Receptus in Greek, No Joke. Sorry to shoot down pop Faery Tales, it IS '666."

  • Although Irenaeus (second century) reported several scribal errors of the number, there is still doubt by some theologians about the original reading, as some recently discovered third century early manuscripts of Revelation read 616.

so should we be on the lookout for Nero's return? hmm, that was a long time ago. i wonder if his prophecy is even relevant any more. I mean, its not like Nero is going to return from the grave to take over the world, haha

  • Lucifer means "bringer of light" meaning Lucifer was a messenger or angel to the angelic host. This means he brought the glory of God to the angels or was their minister. Note Jesus was always the most rude to the religious elite as they represent God.

Satan meaning "deceiver" is the 2nd name God gave Lucifer upon the message being that he is equatible with God. The messenger not being equated with the message was Lucifers error. Thus God changed his name from "bringer of light" to "deceiver."

  • I also support the idea that Satan and Lucifer are separate entities. Satan representing darkness, and Lucifer representing the light and knowledge. Satan/Shaitan is of the Middle Eastern pantheon; whereas Lucifer is Roman...

The red and black thing is dynamite! :)

  • A friend of the " Devil" is a friend of mine

  • Very nicely done. This has cleared up quite a bit, and it's ultimately true (for what I know, I think I've said before I don't study luciferianism too much.)

On a side note about your hair, it looks really pretty, do you do your own makeup? Because it looks really nice.

  • I personally think whether Luciferianism or Satanism represents darkness or light all depends on the person's own perspective. If you are a Christian, it will represent darkness as it guides you to all the so-called "sins", but if you are a Satanist (or even a Pagan for the sake of argument), it will represent light because it represent the wisdom and free will.

  • I also wanted to say that it somewhat "pains" me that there are still some people that practice Satanism and call it "Luciferianism". I have seen books that are so obvoiusly Satanic, but the titles say they are Luciferian. That kind of thing is what causes so much confusion between the 2 paths.

  • Very good information. As a Luciferian, I am really shocked and pleased that there is so much support for Lucifer on YouTube and the internet in general. I do believe in the Christian mythos of Lucifer, but with the "spin" of Lucifer being the bringer of enlightenment. Of course Adam and Eve are archetypal and the Garden of Eden is allegorical. But Lucifer is real (to me). Thank you for this video.

  • Praise Jah Lucifari!

  • Really when it comes down to it, Satan is a hebrew word meaning "Enemy". The image of Satan being a guy with horns and cloven foot were prescribed to him by Christians trying to make him appear as scary as possible (back then, it was scary. Nowadays thanks to Hollywood scary transcends imagery).

The Image of Satan is heavily inspirited by fertility gods and some 20+ pagan horned gods. At heart, the image is a Christian creation. LaVey codified it into a philosophy.

    Lucifer is a different story.

  • Intressting as usual to listen to your videos Venus. Keep em coming. Its worth spending time to watch.

  • Thank you very much

  • No thank you! :)

  • I think the best way to participate in either Satanism or Luciferianism, is to understand it from the pre Christian perspective. It's passable most of the literature on the subject were banished.

  • Good Analysis... I'm still researching the origin of those entities myself. It often happens that a God Being will absorb the aspects of other entities as time passes. There are numerous examples of that in Ancient egyptian Religion, Indian Religion, and even Christianity.

  • I meant: Goddess or God Being

    & Ancient Egyptian Religion

  • yes, id imagine that a lot of it is through conquering and assimilation
