It's a shame that certain people just cannot listen closely enough to a piece of music just because the genre seems a little abrasive or the singer has tattoos and long hair.

Then along comes softer versions of essentially THE SAME MUSIC, and then people appreciate it.

Anyhow... this kind of work could single-handedly revive Lit's career in my opinion. It's that good at appealing to the masses -- or at least an audience that can't stand a little noise and distortion. lol

Wow, I just had to to go to the piano to play this and honestly... I have to give Lit a lot of credit -- unfortunately I am having trouble finding out who exactly wrote the music, but the progressions, melody, and musical choices in general are just perfect.

Sometimes I wonder whether the music I have loved was just a case of trendiness for its time, and now a case of nostalgia, but definitely not. More than 10 years later this is still awesome.

the ones which she didnt make for requests got a strange soul in it. and i want to feel it always.

that's the spirit which makes me cry, laugh or get angry while listening. it's the living "thing" in the music.

but those requested covers only sound like solid, dead "notes" to me. it just like the difference between a poem and an article.

@kastraynator The original song is great. It was done in a different style, but give credit to where credit is due. Lit's style of music is not meant to be introspective, romantic, rubato, and full of dynamics.
