You guys are judging it only on the graphical appearance which honestly to me is nostalgic because it reminds me of the originals. Hold on guys hold on. My friend is a beta tester ok. He even showed me in secret that he played the new spyro game they are working on. This ain't it. The one I saw you play Spyro Cynder Flame and Ember. It may come out after this does. The story that my friend plays is about there is another evil darkness and it corrupted malefore and there was a king and queen of darkness taking over. And this will be a sequel so this ain't the game we waited for.
Ive noticed that the 2 of some of the best childhood games (crash bandicoot and spyro) were brilliant and didn't need changing, but they go and mess everything up and make the characters babbling idiots (new crash) and old lizards (spyro) that were near perfect before they ruined it all. Twinsanity was the last good crash game in my oppinion before mind over mutant and crash of the titans. Why do they have to tamper with our nostalgia and make it all screwed up?

I may be one of the few people who may like this new game along with skylanders. Spyro has taken many different forms of game play and in my book it's always a welcome to TRY the game before just out right saying 'oh fuck no, activition what have you done'. Spyro. *sigh* Spyro two and a prototype of spyro 1 and 3 were awesome. It was so cute and cartoony and Spyro was just plain cool. Now? Look at him. Where did Elora, Hunter and the rest go? I would have been cool with them making a grown-up version of Spyro and Cynder. Ever since the original games for PS1, I've always sorta thought it'd be cool if they had Spyro grow up like the other dragons. And they almost had it with the Legend of Spyro games! In Dawn of the Dragon, he was basically a young adult. And now they went and ruined it all with this damn toy idea. =( . I might still get it to try it, but it looks like a mockery of my childhood. *cries a little bit inside*

The one I saw you play Spyro Cynder Flame and Ember. It may come out after this does. The story that my friend plays is about there is another evil darkness and it corrupted malefore and there was a king and queen of darkness taking over. Ive noticed that the 2 of some of the best childhood games (crash bandicoot and spyro) were brilliant and didn't need changing, but they go and mess everything up and make the characters babbling idiots (new crash) and old lizards (spyro) that were near perfect before they ruined it all. Twinsanity was the last good crash game in my oppinion before mind over mutant and crash of the titans. Why do they have to tamper with our nostalgia and make it all screwed up?

I may be one of the few people who may like this new game along with skylanders. Spyro has taken many different forms of game play and in my book it's always a welcome to TRY the game before just out right saying 'oh fuck no, activition what have you done'. Yes i grew up on spyro and i like that activition is thinking out side the box on this one. And I don't care what everyone else thinks, I'm going to give the game a shot and see if it sucks or not.

Spyro. *sigh* Spyro two and a prototype of spyro 1 and 3 were awesome. It was so cute and cartoony and Spyro was just plain cool. Now? Look at him. Where did Elora, Hunter and the rest go? Who the fuck are all these random new characters for? Why did they have to kill the cartoony style? Why did they have to kill everything that Spyro was before? The jewels are gone, Sparx became some sort of human bee-ing (gag) and all these new characters can kiss my ass. Please do not buy this game.

There is a game called Skylanders: Spyro's adventure coming out in fall! But it looks HORRIBLE well, he looks like an aborted dragon fetus and the game that US, the REAL SPYRO FANS have been waiting two years for is going to be a game for 6-12 years olds. I feel dead inside.... I grew up with spyro and now im watching him die like an old friend on his death bed. I was really hoping this was gonna be a turn toward a more classic... or at least spyro looking spyro then... this. it looks like eragon. Plus the whole toy thing... yeah hell no I will always remember spyro as my childhood and well childhood hero forever, but spyro just lost his last hit point... so to speak.

I knew they wouldn't return to classic, Either way people should really give up on getting classic spyro.
They were very great Nostalgic games, but to bad. Play the first 3 spyro games if you want to play spyro. Even if they did make a game with the classic gameplay, it isn't going to be as worth while as it seems, it won't automatically become Nostalgic.
If they did make classic spyro, It might just end up like Enter the dragon fly, Unloved and unplayed unless Insomniac made it which is low.

Why waiting for Spyro? Insomniac sold Spyro because they were planning to create platformers with shooting elements, but a dragon couldn't handle weapons. So they created Ratchet & Clank. If you loved the old Spyro games, just don't play the new ones. They're all crap.
The Spyro franchise is almost dead. Activision doesn't care about it.
