when i was playing this game (and dawn of the dragon ages b4 i got this one) im just thinking. how is sparx not being killed like all bugs do? by getting squished. or something like that... okay im very familliar with the spyro games (ive been playing them since i was 3 or 4) so i dont know why im typing this. but still. isnt this odd to you ppl?

@IKathaarl: Have you actually played the other 2? There was nothing wrong with the ice breath or the lightning breath, I would say once they make it into a movie this will probably be one of the best 3d movies i've ever watched appartently its coming out August 2010 can't wait =D

It wasn't actually said that Spyro would Destroy Malefor. If all had gone to plan the two of them would never had met.

In the games Cynder does look black but if you look closer then you'll see that she's actually blackish-purple. So she's not really a black dragon or a purple dragon, maybe pure black scales were just a side effect of Malefor and dark indigo is her real colour.

If you go back and watch the first cut scenes they talk about the "one" purple dragon that was to be born. You are right, she does have a purple tint, but I do not think she is a purple dragon.

Who DOESN'T hate Sparx? In the original games the most communication you got from him was subtitled buzzing, and he protected you by taking the hits from the rynocs and such. But in the crappy reboot? Nooo. He can't be helpful in any way. He's just downgraded to an annoying comic relief character that would only make five year olds laugh. AND he complains that he doesn't get enough credit, when ALL HE DOES IS FOLLOW YOU AROUND. GAAAAAH!

Uh...a lot of people LIKE Sparx due to the fact that he's funny. In a doom-and-gloom remake series such as TLOS, humor is needed to help the younger kids pay attention and keep the older people interested. Plus, David Spade is cool. :D
