the water effect looks so gorgeous exactly the same in panzer dragoon and shining force 3, if only there was a true alpha blending it could be better that's the only bad point of the saturn cause this machine is very powerfull
It would be cool if someone just slapped the official English localization onto the Japanese Sega Saturn rom so I could just see the differences in graphics in that version.
btw, where can you buy segasaturn these days? also i would love to have the actual game on it and the bonus disc, could anyone kindly tell me where to get em?
Damn, that's impressive. I have the PS1 version, which is really good, but quite a bit downgraded, as I can see. That said, it was a very good port given the PS1's technology, I don't know what people are complaining about.
It's actually believed to be more powerful than the PS1 but due to complicated architecture it was to hard to develop for so most companies failed to get the best out of Sega's console.
Wow, the water textures are superb on the Saturn, and you can play without the frame rate NOT constantly slowing down (yes, as if I needed to state, I've only played the horrible PSX port -_- )
Grandia on Sega Saturn is a masterpiece, Sony really dropped the ball with handing the translation over to a team of high schoolers. Thats what it seemed like.
