People often count the negative and not the positive. Many doctors, celebrities and millions of people raise funds for the African countries and help the people there. Educate them, shelter them, feed them etc. Race hate will ALWAYS exist, I mean, who are we kidding? There is hate even between the people of the same neighborhood or race. But we should all see beyond that and start making healthy relations and be kind to one another cos then many doors open once hands have been shaken.
The world now does have equal opportunities for everybody. We all have been bullied because of our race or fat content in our body, sexual orientation, gender or even age, but if we sit and whine and not move forward and achieve something then there is no way to prove those bullies otherwise. Regardless of your status or physical parameters, if you sit down and whine and not open your mind to see that people are actually helping each other then you forever remain a subject to hate statements.
Everybody has the right for change and Marguerite proved that people DO change. I do feel bad about what happened to Africans back when they were sold as slaves but I cannot in any way, identify myself with people who mistreated Africans, just because I happen to be white. The treatment that Marguerite Perrin received that I can see in this clip is downright abusive and disgusting. She did not deserve to be treated like that. I am actually interested in their choice of name for Abasi's daughter.. If I were Margaret, I'd ask Abasi to explain his knowledge on African culture/mythology/language, since he apparently researched that. The treatment that Marguerite Perrin received that I can see in this clip is downright abusive and disgusting. She did not deserve to be treated like that.
