Haha the guy lost his mustache! Love how the other guy starts slapping it with a spoon! (forgive me, I'm a new I Love Lucy fan and don't know all the characters' names yet)
@maliwahtallhei it's fred who hits the fake moustache and ethel is his wife on the show. this wasnt an actual episode of I love lucy though. it was a cbs special
Wow, I've never seen this before. I am a big fan of "I Love Lucy", and I thought I had read everything about it. I never knew this existed. Thanks for posting it.
Jack NEVER appeared on "I LOVE LUCY", for the simple reason there was a sponsor conflict: Lucy was sponsored by Philip Morris, and Jack appeared for American Tobacco's Lucky Strike {would YOU invite the star of a rival cigarette's program on your show? Neither would Philip Morris}. This is from a an hour-long CBS special, "Stars in the Eye" [November 15, 1952], which indeed celebrated the opening of the network's "Television City" facilities, with all of their "big stars" appearing....
Where did this come from? I've never seen this before! Thanks for posting it, but I am now very curious about it. Any information would be appreciated!
@karlakor i believe this was a planned bit in a sequence from the very early 1950's when CBS opened up their new studio headquarters on Fairfax next to the Farmer's Market. Jack Benny was the host and the running gag was his trying to get other CBS stars to appear on a special dedicating the new building.
The first part was to give it the illusion that they were rehearsing and that Jack budded in.
This is so funny & awesome! It's so rare to see bloopers for great older shows like I Love Lucy. Thank you for posting it. Lucy's reaction is priceless & It's funny when she asks for her next line. I will always adore Ethel/Vivian in that very beautiful
My fav show when I was about maybe 2 years old......LOVE Lucy... I had her on several flights.....the stories I could tell! :)

It's well known the Lucy meant business when she wasn't in front of a camera. She was choked with Benny when she stomped off.

Where did you find these outtakes

Jesus Christ, this isn't a blooper or an outtake. It's obviously a clip for Jack Benny's show and was totally staged. DUH.

@oldfart387
It really does look just like him, but it's not listed in Bob Crane's imdb.com page.
