One thing which struck me on my trip to Berlin 2 years ago; there is still a lot of undeveloped land. By the end of the 90s, there was a fear that the city would outgrow itself with high rise buildings. So it seems this hasn't happened yet, as I could the see the sandy outline for the berlinwall pitted amidst buildings.

May someone tell me why all guys debate about the WW2 or Warsaw here? This is a video meant for showing some impressions of the City of Berlin - nothing further!

Of course one should never forget what happend in the past, but why are the the german people always convicted for the fates of their grand-fathers?

70% of the Germans living today, were born after 1945, so they don't have to do anything with it.

That Warsaw was destroyed is a real shame and no one is forgetting it - it will always be shameful for Germany. But it was more than 60 years ago. We can't change it anymore. And to be fair: Much of the most important monuments were rebuild, what is still missing would be nice places but not the most important ones of Warsaw. Many of the new touristic sites, which the people of Warsaw are now proud of would not be there without the destruction - Pałac Kultury i Nauk and skyscrapers.

@Meinaufeldt Ive been to Europe many times, especially Germany. I think that racism is far more prevalent and accepted in Europe than it is in North America. This is from my experience, not based on some meaningless prejudice. I have never encountered racism in Europe but Ive witnessed many Turks and Eastern Europeans get treated like animals in western Europe. Racism in Europe is on an entirely different level. For example, white Europeans are racist against other white Europeans in Europe.
