  • This is where a short wheelbase is great.

  • thanks for that vid really showed the class of the land rover defender.. and anyone who watches tht and still says the defender is useless needs to be shot

  • Yeah I have seen muscle V8 Range Rovers really struggle out of this same hole.

  • I love that the car just drove on out of there, no trouble at all.

  • good driving

  • nice video and track, I'l like to try it with my "Campagnola" ;)

  • As you may or may not be aware, videos often don't do angles any justice. This is the case here, believe me, it was near verticle... to the point you wouldn't want it much further - unless you had a role cage or disrespected your vehicle and your life!

  • It looks fairly steep, you should come out here to Moab I'll take you "REAL" 4x4ing! lol

I know some places out here where they will hear you from five miles away screaming "holy shit"!! 400 foot vertical drops off of sand stone cliffs on the slick rock etc. I live in 4x4 heaven!!

  • @nickwilkes23 I always get home and show people my videos then have to say "trust me it was vertical". Only other off roaders can realise how steep slopes are on video.

  • I think it looks vertical enough.

  • mint landy are they the disco wheels powder coated, bet your arse hole was twichin when it goes over that bank

  • Porl who owns the Landy owns a Powder Coating company, Redditch Shotblasting. I think they are the normal Defender wheels, but believe they were put on other vehicles.

  • @nickwilkes23

They're Discovery 1 alloy wheels, a very similar alloy was offered as an option on Defenders.
