Her English sounds just like the sort of English I hear a lot of international students in America speak... especially if they came from schools where they primarily spoke a different language (i.e. in Japan, Korea, Russia). But it's understandable, and that's really all that matters :)
The only thing I had trouble getting was "Harry Potter". lol. At first I thought she said "Holly Porter", and then figured she probably meant the former.
i'd never be able to tell that she was raised bilingually from listening to her speaking in english. it's actually not that good at all considering her circumstances. but great video! :D
I always enjoy hearing stories about other people who are bicultural. It's like having one foot in one culture, and the other foot in the other culture... and sometimes there are more than two cultures to contend with. It presents its own set of advantages and disadvantages that I don't think anyone else could understand but another bi/multicultural person.
Five thumbs up! :D It seemed as if she could go on for a while, so why not prolong these Monday shows in future? Maybe another part? Well, it was interesting anyway! And I like how people actually sound and act different when changing language.
Well, I want to WWOOF on a budget. But the world is an expensive place. If I wanted to WOOF for 6 months would it be practical to do it on the cheap?
