It’s sung from the scammer's point of view. Get in the bunker! Women and children first! The world will end! (people start to believe him) he’s laughing till his head comes off because they’re actually believing his BS. He’s expecting to get rich and eat till he bursts.

@rotaryaddict Not to be rude, But that's your interpretation. Music is art and art is supposed to be interpreted in different ways by different people. If there is a one and only meaning to a song then it isn't art. And this song can definitively be interpreted in different ways. My interpretation was completely different from yours but that is because it can be interpreted so many ways. So there shouldn't be a "This song is about...." comment.

The great thing about Kid A/Amnesiac Radiohead is it was seemingly based completely on feeling. Not really musical intuitiveness as it was just tones, feelings, emotions, and Thom Yorke sounding just Fergie and Jesus.

And I do agree that Kid A and Amnesiac are based very much on feeling, and although quite a few songs these days are based on feeling, Radiohead has expressed themselves in a brilliant and beautiful way like none other :)

Thats the only sentence in german that i know. it means 'i want a slice of blackforest gateau'.

in my opinion is one of the main sentences that all people learning german should know.
