There aren't enough words to do the genius of this show justice. It pulled from worldwide cultural groups (Inuits, Chinese, etc.) and real forms of kung fu for the bending (ba gua, northern Shaolin, etc.). The characters all had pasts and morals and opinions and were dynamic. The evil characters had a reason to be evil, not just for the sake of it. Lessons were learned, but big ones. Kill someone who killed innocents, or show mercy, even if they don't deserve it? This show is one of the best.

I love this show. I know it's meant for children, but I'm fifteen and I've watched the entire series at least three times over. The characters and storyline are just amazing, and I love love love how *everything*, even the smallest things, were tied in in some way. Everything was connected in that series. I can't wait for Korra to air!

I remember feeling that the show was a bit too kiddy for me during the first season. I continued to watch it anyway but wouldn't tell anyone about it.

By the end of the third season I was shouting the greatness of the show from the rooftops. It really grows on you from the second season onwards and is truely something magical.

The story was so compelling. Every episode was unique, yet it all strung together in perfect harmony. It had the perfect ending, but it also was funny and wise and special. This show was a children series... But it had such a mature and wise essence, life-lessons were taught while watching, it's just amazing. The characters, how they change during the adventure, the storyline, the artwork and style; everything is extremely well thought out imo. This had such a great influence on my meaning on life actually.. I hope the Legend of Korra contains the same magic. :)

She ALWAYS had alot of mentall issues, most of which stemed from her mother, not feeling completely loved and accpeted by her, like Zuko was. I truely wish they had gone and made a Fourth book, in which the main theme is Zuko finding his mother.
