BF 109 vs Yak 3

hmmm....after a head on pass like that, both the ME-109 and Yak-3 would likely have gone vertical with an Imelman Turn...Yak-3 had an advantage in performance over the 109

I was playing il2 forgotten battles today and I ownd 2 Yaks just like that in an Bf-109G-6 and the yaks were set to ace well of corse I am a better pilot then the computer controled yaks but online 1 Bf-109 vs 2 Yaks at high alltitude the 109 had the advandage but low to the ground that Yak had the better advantage

i have this game, but it is different somehow( i think) your gunsight in the BF-109 is centered, but in mine the gunsight is either off to the right or off to the right...do you know what i am talking about and how do i fix this?

huh. if the yak-3 was set to ace it would have owned the bf-109. you just set it on rookie didnt you? because the bf-109 was no match for its manuevrability and speed

I just fought a yak too on this game and I didn't do so well with my bf109. Again I am new to the game, so I do have some things to learn. The yak takes all of my abilities away when it runs away to high altitude, but other than that it is 1 on 1 as far as the aircraft are concerned.

Hmmm ... turn fighting with a Yak??? Lucky you had the AI on "rookie" my friend. You need to use the vertical to survive if you want to sim/fight in a 109. Give it a go on line and see how long you survive.

ivedowned yaks on veteran with a 109 they just didnt perform the best.,. use combat landing flaps and u find u can outturn loooots of planes

YAK-3 1944 is very very manuvreable combat aircraft. But it doesn't have much ammo.
