For purely musical skill on song-writing, one of my favorites is buckethead, who is better live than in the studio.

Lady Starlight was the one who developed Gaga, Rob gave the name. While I also thought Born This Way should have been a ballad, I can understand why it isn't now. If it was a ballad, it wouldn't have been heard, the message wouldn't have been spread, and people would have writen it off as a new "Imagine" and not taken seriously.

@PaparazziGagax Actually! Her Ex boyfriend/ manger wrote most of lady gaga's songs and thought of the idea, so she get attention and be famous, He sued her when she dumped him when she was famous, if you don't remember.
Personally, I think Born this way should of been done like this, and it seems the songs she does write is like this just with a pop best added, thats why they are good, but I personally thinks she tries too hard to be different, She comes off as just trying to hard.

@tara37830 Rob Fusari didn't write most of her songs, he produced them or arranged them, the bulk of the lyrics were by Gaga. This song was writen before she knew him. Lady Starlight was the one who developed Gaga, Rob gave the name. While I also thought Born This Way should have been a ballad, I can understand why it isn't now. If it was a ballad, it wouldn't have been heard, the message wouldn't have been spread, and people would have writen it off as a new "Imagine" and not taken seriously.

She wasn't independent back in The Fame era, She had to rely on big music industries to make HER big. Now she has a strong fanbase, and is able to have more freedom.

Of course I'd want to polish it however she wants to, so that she is completely satisfied with releasing it to the public, but I would love if she sang it just like this as an extra for her next album or something. <3

today i just got common with stefani germanotta. i kinda was afreid to look into lady gaga any further. usualy if you do that with a pop artist you run into danger to be dissapointed by what you find out about how they are and how they bacame famous.
but lady gaga / or stefani it seems to be an interesting way and i like to know more about her now and after listning to a few songs and watching a few liveshows i like this stuff just as much as the lady gagas

do any of you realize that she talks about her fame and her impact on the world in this song even before she was famous.. she is an electric kiss, she basically kissed the world and we fell in love with her .. she changed the world and the way people view music with her lips.. she sings about how people are obsessed with fame and how celebs nowadays arent true artists and that the real poets and musicians need to step in and change that, which is exactly what she did......

@hankjdubs Except that she has wound up doing the same thing. She has a beautiful voice yet everything is simplified and she's playing a role to satisfy this creation she's exposed to the world. She has fallen into that same fame she sang about as being destructive. Oh, how people suddenly change when they make it to the other side. She's not changing the world by wearing crazy outfits and exposing her body. She's become part of the problem now.

@Diamonduserabuser she isnt becoming what shes singing about. her whole the fame album is making a joke of celebs who shouldnt be famous and therefor, everyone can feel famous.. she transformed into a superstar but didnt lose who she is on the inside..and although this song is amazing u would never here it on the radio so she changed the style of her writings to be more dance and pop so she could get bigger. the poetry is still in her music, its just the style thats changed.
