Many of the protesters are protesting that their rights as US citizens are the one's that stand to violated as they are Arizona citizens that the police could say "look illegal." Again many of the protesters are protesting that their rights stand to be violated ie they may be detained without having broken any laws and forced to prove their citizenship because they "look illegal." But feel free to ignore that and let the ignorant racist comments continue.
@lmnolo I dont see how my rights as a citizen are being violated if I am asked to prove citizenship. Not to mention, anyone that carries a state id is a legal citizen correct? So you mean you may get asked for your ID from a cop...thats not different from how it is now. Oh and they cant detain you without you breaking a law, read the bill. It explaines that they can only question someone about thier citizenship if they have broken a law....

It was about 5 years ago Joe Arpaio tried to have random stop and frisk for drugs and he had to be told that would be un constitutional now again he has the President of the United States, a Federal Judge and anyone who is looking at his actions clearly saying 1070 is un constitutional. Joe Arpaio isn't exactly a constitutional scholar he's completely unfit to hold any sort of office.
