I know were all loving the Jackson family with all their musical talents etc etc but take away Michael and Janet and I honestly don't see anything special or anthing that really stands out. Yeah some of them can play instruments, so can other people. The only exceptional people here are Michael and Janet Jackon.
I am such a big 3T fan! i love the 2nd generation of the jackson's as well. Gen is such an amzing person to talk to.(: i love all the jackson family members. God bless them.<3
I do have to give Joe credit for actually keeping the jacksons out of trouble such as drugs and other issues. People don't look at it that way and criticize Joe badly. At least he took care of and provided unlike most fathers these days!
I loved this little documentary. when they were talking about Dee Dee I cried, I don't know what I would do if I lost my mother, especially the way they lost theirs.

I believe this was recorded 15 years ago. So a lot of the projects (except for Michael's and the 30th anniversary show) ever happened. Really, only Michael knew how to make things happen and had more talent in his pinky finger than all put together and I'm including Janet. Not taking away from them as a family, but by all accounts Michael was a child prodigy. Michael could just do and was always trying to perfect it. They have to *think* about doing it.

I think Joe is a victim of sound bytes & gets a bad wrap, but I also believe he was abusive, if you apply today's standard. People forget that 50 years ago, he probably wasn't doing much more than a lot of parents of his day. Being famous for beating Michael Jackson-he may as well have shot Bambi because for many he's the symbol of evil. Children have different temperaments, and his brand of discipline can either keep a young man on the straight and narrow or break his spirit.

Yes, but they found him dead in his New Jersey apartment on November 5th. He was 65 and they also mentioned that they found medication in his apartment that suggested he was seriously ill. He did not leave a note.

To date, the only Jackson grandkids who put out albums are 3T and Marlon Jr./ Chye Beats as 1/2 of Modern Day Poets. Rebbie's son Austin made an unreleased album, so did Jackie's son Dealz. Marlon's daughters Valencia and Brittny worked on music too that I presume must be shelved, and one of Rebbie's daughters, Yashi, released a song on Myspace. Have no idea what happened to Jermaine Jr.'s album. Randy's daughter Genevieve has been working on some music.
Much love for Mrs. Jackson and the wisdom, knowledge and love that she instilled within her children which is being passed down to the grans.. I also love hearing about Marlon and his great endeavors....Im happy that LaToya has found her way home as well..God bless the family, through everything they are still maintaining...
After watching a couple of documentations on the Jacksons, it is with such a heavy heart to say that this family must be having it really hard to be facing the reality right now. To them its not the iconic Michael Jackson that we all adore and idolise that passed away, it is a family member to them- a son, a brother an uncle.
I wish people will show more respect to this family. Now that Michael has crossed over, no one will ever again see Jackson 5 or Michael perform.
you know pple make all sorts of nasty comments about joe jacksonAND his union with katherine. i mean all families have their ups and downs. to say what katherine saw in joe is so rude. if it weren't 4 their union there'd be no michael and the jackson 5. i think joe was a strict disciplinarian and had the best interest of his family at heart but of course made mikstake along the way. who are we to constantly make degrading remarks on a family that is so driven and talented.

Yes, but they found him dead in his New Jersey apartment on November 5th. He was 65 and they also mentioned that they found medication in his apartment that suggested he was seriously ill. He did not leave a note.

My grandmother had 16 babies and countless grandkids....but the difference between us and the Jacksons is that they are a close-knit tight family...ours fight too much.....I bet that they are so close!!! I wish we were like that! RIP MJ!!!

Michael was by far the greatest singer in the Jackson family. Followed by Janet and even Jermaine is a good singer. From the next generation 3T's got talent. But for the others I'd say....talent is not in a name. Being a Jackson doesn't automaticly mean you can sing. And please......let La Toya stop singing lol

To date, the only Jackson grandkids who put out albums are 3T and Marlon Jr./ Chye Beats as 1/2 of Modern Day Poets. Rebbie's son Austin made an unreleased album, so did Jackie's son Dealz. Marlon's daughters Valencia and Brittny worked on music too that I presume must be shelved, and one of Rebbie's daughters, Yashi, released a song on Myspace. Have no idea what happened to Jermaine Jr.'s album. Randy's daughter Genevieve has been working on some music.

Much love for Mrs. Jackson and the wisdom, knowledge and love that she instilled within her children which is being passed down to the grans.. I also love hearing about Marlon and his great endeavors....Im happy that LaToya has found her way home as well..God bless the family, through everything they are still maintaining...

After watching a couple of documentations on the Jacksons, it is with such a heavy heart to say that this family must be having it really hard to be facing the reality right now. To them its not the iconic Michael Jackson that we all adore and idolise that passed away, it is a family member to them- a son, a brother an uncle.
I wish people will show more respect to this family. Now that Michael has crossed over, no one will ever again see Jackson 5 or Michael perform.

you know pple make all sorts of nasty comments about joe jacksonAND his union with katherine. i mean all families have their ups and downs. to say what katherine saw in joe is so rude. if it weren't 4 their union there'd be no michael and the jackson 5. i think joe was a strict disciplinarian and had the best interest of his family at heart but of course made mikstake along the way. who are we to constantly make degrading remarks on a family that is so driven and talented.
