  • One word. SUPER :)

  • I just remembered this video while surfing gratissoft . de (it's a german download directory and this video is embedded there as an example of Buzz in action).

That tracks rocks like hell. How could I forget about this track? Shame on me. Ripping a mp3 right now. :)

  • what machines did you use?

  • This is just from memory, so i could be wrong:

    ZX1

    Infector

    MTrk

    808

    909

    Primifun

    PercFM (?)

  • actually, buzz has been in development again since 2008. google jeskola ;)

  • @mutepg58 Newbuzz is TOTALLY stable and ROCKS

  • This track is really cool man, I'm a massive Boards fan but it's pretty unique at the same time :)

  • my first program to compose music, it reminds me of back when i was only 10 years old!

  • sorry if this is a dumb question..

is this free? i heard it was then i heard it was a discontinued project... is it still available for download?

  • yes. buzz is free, closed source and windows only

  • Technically it's Windows only. But it runs perfectly on Wine. The funny thing is: It runs better in Wine than in Windows. ;)

  • Nice track there, and an interesting way to play live. I'd have used Jeskola Mixer but that way seems to work too.

  • hi, i want to start making music , ive always wanted too as i think i have stuff in my head but dont know how to get it out. is this prog you use useful to me, or do you recommend something else

  • Yeah jeskola buzz is great, and its free. It is easy to use and understand.

    Really a nice song : )

  • great to see how someone uses it live, and a sweet song too.

  • Jeskola forever!!! Nice track. Respect!

  • well done

  • sounds like boards of canada

  • I use Buzz since 1998 and I still wonder, what a wonder it could be if he hadnt loose the code...

  • Jeskola Buzz is not dead!!!

Perfect instrument for creating "trash hop" masterpieces. Cool track

  • that tracker is legendary.

  • great track!

  • thanks you very much, the more i see the more i understand trackers and shit. thank you

  • I can't find any good buzztracker software anywhere, otherwise I'd get into it.

  • AAAhhh this brings back some memories. Even though I never had the mindset/genetics to keep all those settings in my mindframe, i still would end up playing my songs just like that. And then never bulid a "real" song from patterns. Nice sound to this song btw!

  • nice song! my brother and hes techno group used buzz at there first live gig. but then they just palyed the songs and had 2 computers and a mixer inbetween them. so it was more like dj´ing. TSR!

  • mmmmmm nice ambient-tekno stuff, did u use any hardware midi controllers with that?

  • Hey man thats awsome! How did you make that pad which is at 7:30, thats sound really cool!

And the idea to make a live mix (or whatever it was) was really cool!!

Could you give me some BMX/BMW file ;)

    RESPECT MAN!!

  • This was realy sweet. Do you use it live? Im afraid to if it might crash and i have started to use renoise more lately. But i do miss the posiblity of building complex chains of filters interlapping with each other

  • Hey, that's so cool! :D

  • interesting way to make live out of tracker based software, you still have to prepare a lot to get ready for more than 30 minutes.

  • This is worth more than 1 star!!! it makes me feel shy and happy!
