to answer the question about too big of an exhaust making you loose power. the simple answer is yes. if the exhaust doesn't provide adequate back pressure then the engine suffers. some exhausts can be too big but still provide enough back pressure, this is where you need to understand the principles of heat and what they mean for flow.

Sure it's not V8-Like, but it's VERY sportbike-like, and that is snappy and fun. Don't let all 4bangers get painted with a rice brush, it's not all bigass wings and 2fast2furious doucheboys. I'm a regular guy raised on Chevy small blocks and these SI's are really really fun.
